Genshin Impact Lasting Promise Guide

After completing Chapter II: Act I of Genshin Impact and its new Inazuma region you'll have a few Story Quests to complete before you can continue with the Archon questline. One of them is the Genshin Impact Lasting Promise quest, part of The Whispers of the Crane and the White Rabbit line. This guide will go over the riddle presented to players and how to solve it.

In this quest you'll be working with Ayaka to find out who the mysterious Tsubaki is. Once you land at the designated meeting point you'll be given the following message.

A crane brings 1 fresh flower in its beak to decorate my hair, while a white rabbit sews a hemline from 4 rays of moonlight. Dressed appropriately, I face eastward and call out Tsubaki's name 7 times. In the blink of an eye, I am stood on the path that leads to her house.

Within that message the following words will be highlighted; 1, 4, eastward, 7. All part of the solution, but you now need to find out where to use these clues.

You'll be instructed to search for suspicious places based on those hints, but you'll have a large area of the map to look at.

There's a cave underneath the cracked wall you'll be interested in that has an Electroculus

Head towards the South-East part of the area and you'll be looking for a high ledge that has bright blue glowing flowers and a cracked wall between them. There are a number of decoys in the area so watch out for those. Interacting with the rocky wall you'll then be given a series of options of how many times to knock, pick the following options.

1. Knock one time
2. Knock four times
3. Knock seven times

The wall will break revealing a box inside. Leave the cave and head to the next waypoint marker to have Ayaka read the book, a short cutscene, and then the end of the quest. As a reward for this quest you'll earn the following items; 525x AEP, 35,473x Mora, 4x Hero's Wit, and 8x Crystals. You'll also get the next quest in The Whispers of the Crane and the White Rabbit line called With You.
