The upcoming Genshin Impact 4.1 update has received a release date, and a ton of new information has also been unveiled.
After version 4.0 launched in August, the next installment of your adventures through the watery realm of Fontaine will arrive on September 27th, so between this and the Wo Long Lies of P crossover, you'll have plenty to keep you occupied.
The first major new addition is the northern area of Fontaine, where you'll find the imposing Fortress of Meropide. This is where the latest Archon Quest will take place, too.
Two new bosses are available to fight as part of Genshin Impact 4.1: the Millennial Pearl Seahorse and the Experimental Field Generator. Both should pose plenty of challenge even if you've been playing Genshin Impact for a while.
There are also two new five-star characters to look forward to in the form of Neuvillette and Wriothesley.
Neuvillette is a Hydro user and Wriothesley is a melee Cryo user, and they'll both be available throughout Genshin Impact 4.1's cycle alongside reruns of Hu Tao and Venti.
If you want to take a break from your Fontaine adventures, you can also look forward to a poetry festival being held in Mondstadt and Liyue. The festival has lots of minigames for you to enjoy, as well as an "exclusive 4-star Catalyst".
As ever, there are also several codes available to get yourself some extra stuff. The codes are valid until midnight (UTC -4), so make sure you grab 'em as soon as you can. Here are this update's Special Program Codes!
