Developed by CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077 has a release date of April 16, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game is adapted from the tabletop game Cyberpunk 2020 (originally released in 1988 and subsequently re-released in 1990) and set in the year 2077, starring a mercenary simply known as "V." Cyberpunk 2077 continues to utilize the futuristic, gritty and technological aesthetic that the original tabletop game has become so known for. An action adventure roleplaying experience, V is customizable and the player takes his or her first-person view of the events of the game. Cyberpunk 2077 has received much attention for the fact that it stars Keanu Reeves in a prominent role and that it has spent much time in development. Several trailers were released prior to the game's release date announcement and trailer at E3 2019.
According to the Gog.com description of the game, Cyberpunk 2077:

The Cyberpunk universe was originally created by Mike Pondsmith.
