The Relic skill tree from Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty completely filled out.

So you want to get the most of the new Relic skill tree? Well, you'll need to do some hunting. Here is our Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Relic Cache Locations & Perks Guide.

What Are Relic Perks?

Relic perks are part of a brand new skill tree introduced in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. In-game the tree is unlocked by a character hacking the Relic biochip, pumping it full of Militech combat software.

This happens almost as soon as you start the campaign of this new expansion.

Invest points in this new skill tree and you will overclock your cyberware, providing new skills and abilities.

How to get Relic Perks

Every single perk in the Relic skill tree requires Relic points to unlock.

The first perks in this tree – Jailbreak, Vulnerability Analytics, and Emergency Cloaking –  will cost you three Relic points each. Every perk after that buy-in cost one Relic point each.

To max out the skill tree, you will need 15 Relic points.

  • Six of these points are given to you by Songbird.
  • Three when you start Phantom Liberty
  • Three when you hit a certain beat in the story.
  • Nine are found in Relic Caches, which I've found all the locations for and will share below!

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Relic Cache Locations – All Relic Cache Locations

All of 9 Relic Caches can be found in Dogtown. Better still, all of them can be found the minute you enter, so you won't have to wait to collect them all!

Tucked away and out in the open.

Relic Cache 1

This Relic cache can be found in a corner near some homeless people in a corner outside of the Kress Street safehouse. Simply go to the Fast Travel terminal and look around. You can't miss it.

I got lost on the way to buying a new ride. Best detour ever.

Relic Cache 2

This cache is back in the stadium market in Dogtown. Simply head to the northwest most part of the stadium, past the Autofixer kiosk until you reach an area full of soldiers. The cache should be in a small room nearby.

A quick hop over and you're good to go.

Relic Cache 3

This cache is tucked away at the back of a basketball court in Dogtown. This is the same basketball court where you first meet Solomon Reed during the Lucrecia, My Reflection story mission.

Head into the overpass and look until you find a wall of junk. Behind the wall is the cache.

If you didn't know it was here, you never would have guessed.

Relic Cache 4

This cache is a bit out of the way. On the Dogtown map you should see a large metal ball frame. There is no relevant icon associated with it so you'll have to look.

To the west of this large industrial ornament is a small building complex. The cache is on the second floor.

It took some effort, but I got here.

Relic Cache 5

Head to the Azalea Gardens building. This is the building where you start the No Easy Way Out side mission. From there, head southeast until you reach two large stone pillars.

Head to the pillar closest to the Heavy Hearts Club (the pyramid building) and scale the outside. You may need some double jump or superjump cyberware to help here.

Keep going until you reach a blasted section of the pillar. Inside is the cache, a downed Trauma Team airship, and some dead bodies.

It took a quick run up some stairs but I got up there.

Relic Cache 6

Move northeast of the Heavy Hearts club until you reach a pair of crumbling buildings. The cache is on one of the higher levels. Thankfully, there are some stairs nearby to help you get up.

It's right next to your safe room. Tread cautiously.

Relic Cache 7

The last three Relic caches in this guide are hidden in elite enemy camps in Dogtown. There is one in each camp and there are three camps total.

If you tackle these hideouts, be ready for a fight. Level up, invest in Tier 5 gear across the board and stock up on consumables.

In the Kress Street hideout, fight until your first encounter with the boss. The cache is in a small computer room nearby. You can either open the door if you have at least 15 Tech, or you can slip through the door once the soldier inside comes out to attack you.

If you miss that opportunity however, there is a grate on the floor that leads to another way into the room. Just scan the floor and you should find it.

If you enter a corridor full of mines and gun turrets, you've gone too far.

This arena is just one large boss room. Just keep climbing upwards when you're done.

Relic Cache 8

In the Terra Cognita hideout, clear out the room and defeat the drone boss. Once you've won, head to the highest possible level in the arena. You should be above the model spaceship display. The cache is up there.

There's only two or three large rooms in this camp. You can't miss this relic.

Relic Cache 9

Finally, there is the Luxor Wellness Spa hideout. This cache is pretty hard to miss. It is propped up against a wall out in the open in a combat arena just before the boss room. You can't miss it.

Once you have found all nine Relic caches, you can max out the Relic skill tree and get the trophy/achievement Relic Hunter.

Relic Perks Explained

As for what exactly these Relic perks do, they can apply to many different playstyles.

Jailbreak is a priority if you you use any arm cyberware. This is because it gives new abilities to the Mantis Blades, Gorilla Arms, Projectile Launch System, and Monowire.

Mantis Blades get a powerful leaping strike that can dismember enemies. Gorilla Arms get a powerful shockwave punch. Projectile Launch System can fire multiple shots in a single burst. And the Monowire can inflict quickhacks on its targets; all without spending RAM.

If you're more fond of precision, then Vulnerability Analytics is for you. Simply put, this perk puts a glowing weak spot on enemies. Shoot this spot for guaranteed crit damage and a powerful EMP blast.

Finally, if you are more into stealth, Emergency Cloaking is good as well. Basically, if you activate your cloak during a firefight, enemies will immediately lose track of you.

This is great if you want to get out of a dangerous situation. You will need to have the Optical Camo cyberware installed to make use of this perk, so keep that in mind.

As for the rest of the perks, they either improve or complement these major perks.

Time to expose those gaps in the armor.

Jailbreak has four associated perks. Spatial Mapping makes the Mantis Blade leaping attacks more deadly. Limiter Removal causes a charged Gorilla Arm punch to hit all enemies in range.

Launch Capacity Override adds one more charge to the Launch Projectile System. Finally, Data Mapping lets you spread quickhack effects in your Monowire to multiple targets.

Vulnerability Analytics has one complementary perk. Machine Learning makes hitting these weak spots more potent and causes them to pop up more often.

Now they see me, now they don't.

Lastly, Emergency Cloaking has Sensory Protocol. If you're detected while sneaking, time will slow down. If you dodge or dash out of the enemy's line of sight, you'll avoid a fight.

It's a nice safety net if you're going for a dedicated stealth build.

Of course, if you have all of these perks, you will be one of the most dangerous mercs Night City has ever known. Enjoy.
