UK boxed sales charts data for the week ending September 9th is here, and hey, you'll never guess what's at the top!

Obviously, Bethesda's space RPG Starfield is sitting pretty at number one. If you're a PlayStation gamer and you're salty that you can't play it, then help may be out there for you.

Number two this week goes to Hogwarts Legacy, which has been in the charts for a long while now and isn't showing any signs of dropping out any time soon.

At number three, it's Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Nintendo's evergreen kart racer may no longer be in first place, but I don't like the look of that blue shell it's holding above its head.

The space race isn't the only race Starfield seems to be concerned with winning.

Fourth place goes to Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and in fifth, it's Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, which could well lose its top ten spot to Mortal Kombat 1 when the latter launches next week.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is sitting in sixth place, while seventh place goes to the second of three new entries on the chart this week: NBA 2K24. Looks like that ProPLAY system is working wonders for 2K.

In eighth, it's Grand Theft Auto V, and in ninth, it's the last of those three new entries in the form of cozy farming RPG Fae Farm, which is currently available on Switch and PC only.

Lastly, in tenth place, it's Minecraft, the continued popularity of which probably shouldn't be too surprising. Still, Mojang's game still being part of the cultural consciousness is impressive.

Eleventh through fifteenth place run as follows: FIFA 23Star Wars Jedi: SurvivorDiablo IVRed Dead Redemption 2, and The Witcher III: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition.

That's all for this week's chart! Now you can get back to playing Starfield, and taking a look at our guides if you haven't already. We've got tons of great tips for you!
