The latest Cyberpunk 2077 update, Patch 1.61, might not be a showstopper, but it does add a bunch of welcome fixes and improvements. Night City NPCs will now carry umbrellas of different colors and shapes, for instance, which should brighten up the futuristic city and add more character to the game. If that isn't dynamic enough for you, maybe check out an Edgerunner mod that will make you question your humanity.

Other visual fixes in this Cyberpunk 2077 update include a fix for cars glitching after bumping into them, which sounds incredibly jarring. V's breasts also used to clip through clothes after changing their size at a Ripperdoc and some objects used to float or were otherwise displaced on the map, but those issues have been fixed. Most important for me, at least, is a fix for places where you used to fall through the map, which is great. I've always found those glitches to be some of the most annoying, because they usually resulted in having to load back a decent amount in your game in order to keep playing.

This car should definitely stay on the ground now when you bump into it.

More than a few quests and open world issues have also been fixed, which makes sense given the vast size of Night City. One of the more interesting fixes includes some NCPD Scanner Hustles not being completed properly if the Interact button was spammed, which sounds infuriating. Other gigs like No Fixers have been, ahem, fixed, as they previously didn't trigger when approaching the area, and some PC-specific fixes include items upgrading to a higher tier rarity crashing the game and temporary FPS drops when exiting menus. Nice.

Another cool addition is AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.1 support, which will make the game run a lot better on AMD GPUs. How much better depends on your overall system, but with a game as demanding as Cyberpunk 2077, a few extra frames are always a good thing.
