Unlocking Remy is quite easy once you have a feel for the game. First off, you will need to complete the first little chunk of the main story quest to unlock the Dream Castle. Once inside, his door will be on the first floor to the far right, next to Moana's. To unlock his door, you will need 1,000 Dreamlight total. Once you get inside, you will be transported to Remy's iconic kitchen from the movie, Ratatouille.

Remy will have a few quests for you to complete in order to bring him back to your village. All of them revolve around cooking and knowing how to create a dish he chooses for the critic. To get help with the recipes needed for the quest, check out our cooking guide! It will show you exactly how to make each dish Remy requests.

Once you have completed all of his quests, you will go back to the village and build his home for him to come back to. Once that is done, Remy will be instantly transported to the village via the Well in the center of the Plaza. After he is there, he will have even more quests to offer where you can unlock new recipes to use for other various quests you will come across, such as the one with Maui where he requests three 3-star meals.

How to Unlock Ingredients Cheese, Eggs, Milk, and Butter

When you bring Remy to your Village and open up his restaurant, you will not only gain access to his kitchen to use whenever you please, but you will also gain access to ingredients you cannot find anywhere else. These ingredients are necessary for several different recipes you will need throughout the gameplay, so having Remy's kitchen early on is a vital asset.

You can purchase cheese, eggs, milk, and butter from inside of Chez Remy, and use them for whatever recipes you desire. Another bonus is that Remy stands by as you use his stove, and will give you different reactions based upon which ingredients you are choosing. If you start to choose ingredients in the wrong order, he makes an "oh no" face. If you choose the right ingredients, he beings jumping for joy before you even click to prepare the meal. This is an easy way to know whether or not you are choosing the right ingredients for a recipe in the right order.
