Gameloft has released a brand new Disney Dreamlight Valley update, and this one's perfect for fans of the Pixar classic Monsters, Inc.

The appropriately-named Laugh Floor update follows on from previous updates that have introduced characters from Disney properties like The Lion King, as well as December's 1.0 release, which also brought the game's first piece of paid expansion content.

Thankfully, this new update is entirely free (assuming you own the game, of course), and it's themed around Monsters, Inc., which means you can look forward to meeting Mike and Sully on your adventures.

"If I were a rich man, with a million or two..."

Disney Dreamlight Valley's first update of 2024 brings a new Realm Door to the Dream Castle, and surprise surprise, it leads straight to the Laugh Floor.

There, you'll be able to create a disguise to help you look the part as a monster, and you'll also be able to "snap a picture for your security ID". It's a lot more fun than it sounds.

Of course, the update also brings a host of new quests to complete, and they're themed around everyone's favorite monsters Mike and Sully, who need you to help with a "variety of laugh-related tasks".

Plenty of other features are also coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley in the Laugh Floor update.

They include new Dreamlight Armor and Partners Statue rewards, as well as new cosmetics, an upgrade for Scrooge McDuck's shop, and plenty more.

You can read the full patch notes for the Disney Dreamlight Valley Laugh Floor update right here via the official website. Be sure to spend some time checking them out if you want to know everything that's new.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available right now across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. If you're just settling into the Valley and starting to meet your new friends, be sure to check out our guides for all the info you need to get started.
