Disney Dreamlight Valley Map

Disney Dreamlight Valley Map and Locations Guide - Map of Dreamlight Valley

The Disney Dreamlight Valley map consists of 8 Zones (a.k.a Villages) at launch. Additionally, there are several sub-zones to explore.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Map Locations (Villages)

These are all of the Disney Dreamlight Valley Map Locations that you can visit in the overworld.

Plaza

  • Unlock Cost - 0 Dreamlight
  • Characters - Merlin, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Scrooge McDuck
  • Fruit - Apple Tree
  • Berry Bushes - Raspberry Bushes
  • Spices/Vegetables - Oregano
  • Crops for Sale - N/A
  • Other Items of Note - Garnet, Topaz

The Plaza is the starting area and where you'll begin your adventure in Dreamlight Valley. It contains Mickey Mouse's house, a run-down store owned by Scrooge McDuck, and a shuttered Chez Remy -- but you'll be able to fix all of that.

As a central location, the Plaza is an ideal spot for keeping your home and setting up a Farm. It may not be a bad idea to move the homes of other Villagers here, too, where possible.

The Castle

  • Unlock Cost - 2,000 Dreamlight
  • Characters - Various (see below)
  • Fruit - N/A
  • Berry Bushes - N/A
  • Spices/Vegetables - N/A
  • Crops for Sale - N/A
  • Other Items of Note - Access to Realms of other Disney characters.

The Castle is a massive building that serves a particular purpose -- it lets you transport to other Realms from famous Disney films. More importantly, it lets you bring new characters into Dreamlight Valley.

Peaceful Meadow

  • Unlock Cost - 0 Dreamlight
  • Characters - Goofy
  • Fruit - Banana Tree
  • Berry Bushes - Raspberry Bush
  • Spices/Vegetables - Basil
  • Crops for Sale - Lettuce, Wheat, Carrot
  • Other Items of Note - Peridot, Garnet, First place to Fish

The Peaceful Meadow is the first area you'll unlock after you collect your tools in the beginning of the game. Aside from being home to Goofy, it is also a hub that leads to a few other zones. Critically, this is also the first place you'll be able to do Fishing.

The Peaceful Meadow is also home to a ruined building. This can eventually be turned into a Garden that can be manned by WALL-E once you visit his Realm and complete his Quests.

Dazzle Beach

  • Unlock Cost - 1,000 Dreamlight
  • Characters - Ursula, Ariel
  • Fruit - Banana Tree
  • Berry Bushes - Blueberry Bush
  • Spices/Vegetables -N/A
  • Crops for Sale - Corn, Tomato, Sugarcane
  • Other Items of Note - Sand, Pebbles, Peridot, Aquamarine, Clams, Scallops, Oysters), Sea Stones.

Dazzle Beach is, well, a beach. Home to Ursula, it also features a large, open body of water -- perfect for Buildings that can't be on land such as Maui's home. Donald Duck's ruined houseboat sits on the shoreline.

It's also home to the Mystical Cave, the location of the challenging "With Great Power..." Quest. You'll visit this location again at a later time.

Finally (and perhaps most importantly), Dazzle Beach has an old boat that you can repair with Moana. This boat, once fixed, will automatically collect Fish for free thanks to Moana's hard work (and your financial investment).

Glade of Trust

  • Unlock Cost - 5,000 Dreamlight
  • Characters - Mother Gothel
  • Fruit - Cocoa Tree, Lemon Tree
  • Berry Bushes - N/A
  • Spices/Vegetables - Mushroom
  • Crops for Sale - Okra, Spinach, Rice
  • Other Items of Note - Iron Ore, Clay, Hardwood, Citrine, Emerald, large Mushrooms

The Glade of Trust is a somewhat spooky location -- rather ironic considering its name. It's also home to large Mushrooms that cannot be destroyed until you complete a quest chain with Merlin.

Forest of Valor

  • Unlock Cost - 3,000 Dreamlight
  • Characters - Donald Duck, Kristoff
  • Fruit - Lemon Tree
  • Berry Bushes - Blueberry Bush
  • Spices/Vegetables - Garlic
  • Crops for Sale - Bell Pepper, Onion, Canola
  • Other Items of Note - Iron Ore, Pebbles, Hardwood, Aquamarine, Emerald

The Forest of Valor is a 2-for-1 deal: you'll get access to both Donald Duck and Kristoff right away. It gives you a second area where you can mine Iron (aside from the Glade of Trust). You'll need it, so collect it at every opportunity.

This location is also home to a magical Ice Cave that is central to Anna and Elsa's Questlines. Unfortunately, much of the area is blocked by stumps with mushrooms in them; you'll need to complete a Quest with Anna to gain the ability to destroy them.

Finally, the Forest of Valor has Kristoff's and Anna's home.

Sunlit Plateau

  • Unlock Cost - 7,000 Dreamlight
  • Characters - N/A
  • Fruit - Cherry Tree, Cocoa Tree
  • Berry Bushes - N/A
  • Spices/Vegetables - Vanilla
  • Crops for Sale - Chili Pepper, Zucchini, Soya, Cotton
  • Other Items of Note - Iron Ore, Gold Nugget, Clay, Pebbles, Dry Wood, Citrine, Tourmaline

The Sunlit Plateau is very clearly themed after The Lion King. While none of that franchise's characters are in the game just yet, you can get access to Gold Nugget, Dry Wood, and some new Crops.

Unfortunately, parts of the Sunlit Plateau are blocked by giant bones that you cannot destroy. Presumably, one of the characters from The Lion King -- likely Scar, judging by the splash screen at the start of the game -- will teach you to destroy them.

Vitalys Mines

  • Unlock Cost - N/A (requires Sunlit Plateau)
  • Characters - N/A
  • Fruit - N/A
  • Berry Bushes - N/A
  • Spices/Vegetables - N/A
  • Crops for Sale - N/A
  • Other Items of Note - Ruby, Sapphire, Vitalys Crystal

The Vitalys Mines are a sub-location within the Sunlit Plateau where you can find some gems.

Frosted Heights

  • Unlock Cost - 10,000 Dreamlight, Forest of Valor Unlocked
  • Characters - N/A
  • Fruit - Cherry Tree
  • Berry Bushes - Gooseberry Bush
  • Spices/Vegetables - Mint
  • Crops for Sale - Asparagus, Cucumber, Eggplant
  • Other Items of Note - Iron Ore, Gold Nugget, Snowball, Hardwood, Dry Wood, Amethyst, Tourmaline

Frosted Heights is a chilly place. Naturally, you can find Snowballs here along with some other goodies.

Forgotten Lands

  • Unlock Cost - 15,000 Dreamlight, Sunlit Plateau unlocked
  • Characters - N/A
  • Fruit - Apple Tree
  • Berry Bushes - Gooseberry Bush
  • Spices/Vegetables - Ginger
  • Crops for Sale - Leek, Potato, Pumpkin
  • Other Items of Note - Iron Ore, Gold Nugget, Crystal, Clay, Pebble, Dark Wood, Amethyst, Diamond

The Forgotten Lands is the final Zone/Village you can access in Disney Dreamlight Valley in the launch version. No characters are in this zone just yet, but it appears to be themed after Cinderella somehow.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Map and Locations Guide - Castle Realms

Disney Dreamlight Valley Castle Realms

Realms are pocket dimensions that you can visit by going through doors in the Castle. Opening a door costs 3,000+ Dreamlight. Each door can lead to new characters, useful items, and more.

Moana

  • Unlock Cost - 3,000 Dreamlight
  • Characters - Moana, Maui
  • Fruit - Banana, Coconut
  • Berry Bushes - N/A
  • Spices/Vegetables - N/A
  • Crops for Sale - N/A
  • Other Items of Note - N/A

Moana's Realm is home to both Maui and Moana, natch. This also represents your first opportunity to get Coconuts. You'll be able to get Coconuts in Dreamlight Valley after completing a quest for Maui.

Ratatouille

  • Unlock Cost - 3,000 Dreamlight
  • Characters - Remy
  • Fruit - Various (see below)
  • Berry Bushes - Various (see below)
  • Spices/Vegetables - Various (see below)
  • Crops for Sale - N/A
  • Other Items of Note - Remy's Kitchen in Paris

The Ratatouille realm is a very strong candidate for the first Realm you should visit for several reasons. Firstly, it will get you access to Chez Remy -- this will allow you to boost Friendship with Villagers by serving them Meals.

Furthermore (and perhaps more importantly), Remy's Kitchen in Paris has a unique property -- you can take as many Ingredients as you want for free and use them to Cook. Sadly, you can't take any of them out of the Realm with you, but this is an excellent opportunity to learn many of the Recipes detailed in our Cooking Guide.

WALL-E

  • Unlock Cost - 3,000 Dreamlight
  • Characters - WALL-E
  • Fruit - N/A
  • Berry Bushes - N/A
  • Spices/Vegetables - N/A
  • Crops for Sale - N/A
  • Other Items of Note - Various junk (See below)

WALL-E's realm, on its own, is fairly small and unimportant. However, it gets you access to WALL-E himself, and that will eventually lead to repairing the Garden in the Peaceful Meadow which will give you free Crops after you've fixed it up.

Frozen

  • Unlock Cost - 4,000 Dreamlight
  • Characters - Anna, Elsa
  • Fruit - N/A
  • Berry Bushes - N/A
  • Spices/Vegetables - Garlic
  • Crops for Sale - N/A
  • Other Items of Note - N/A

The Frozen Realm is another 2-for-1 deal -- it gives you access to both Anna and Elsa. (Sadly, you'll have to complete a quest for Anna before Elsa will move to Dreamlight Valley.)

Disney Dreamlight Valley Map and Locations Guide - Fast Travel Well Forest of Valor

How to Fast Travel in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You can fast travel in Disney Dreamlight Valley by interacting with any of the Wells in the world. The Wells need to be repaired in each Zone/Village before they will work. Each Well cannot leave its Zone, but you can move it anywhere within -- including on the other side of barriers you can't break yet.

Additionally, you can open up the Disney Dreamlight Valley Map and click on the Castle. This will bring up a menu that will let you travel to other Zones/Villages and the various Realms you've unlocked, too.

We're at the end of our Disney Dreamlight Valley Map and Locations Guide, but there's plenty more to discover -- check out our other guides below!
