This guide tells you how to use Inspector Mode in Medieval Dynasty and explains how it can be used to find items, hunt animals, and identify threats.
There's a lot to discover in Medieval Dynasty. Although you'll spend a lot of time Farming for crops and setting up your home, you'll eventually want to head to other places to find Straw and make money. You can find a lot of useful resources along the way, and Inspector Mode can help you spot these items -- read on to learn more about how it works!
How to Use Inspector Mode
You can use Inspector Mode in Medieval Dynasty by holding down the Alt key. Inspector Mode will highlight people, Buildings, dropped items, and more on your screen with descriptive text.
Inspector Mode will slowly drain your Stamina, and you can't use it if your Stamina is too low (unless you've disabled Stamina consumption with Cheats, naturally). While the default version of Inspector Mode is plenty helpful on its own, you can give it some serious upgrades in the Skill Tree that will make it much more powerful.
Additionally, Inspector Mode will highlight the Skill levels of any People that you can potentially recruit to your village or People who have already joined your village. (You can find recruitable people near the Campfires in towns.) This makes it easy to decide what Crafting jobs or other work they are best suited for.
How the Survival Sense Upgrade Works
Survival Sense is an upgrade to Inspector Mode in Medieval Dynasty that will show you items that you can collect and forage in the wild. These include branches, stones, Straw, and the various berries and plants in the game. Generally speaking, sticks and stones will be colored green and plants will be colored yellow.
How to Upgrade Inspector Mode with Survival Sense
You can upgrade Inspector Mode in Medieval Dynasty with Survival Sense in the Survival Skill Tree. It's a Tier 2 Skill, so you'll have to spend 1 Skill Point on any Tier 1 Skill first.
How the Tracker Upgrade Works
Tracker is the second of two Medieval Dynasty Inspector Mode upgrades. It allows you to highlight animals with various colors:
- Red - Hostile wild animal
- Green - Non-hostile wild animal
- Blue - Livestock
This upgrade is most useful when you're traveling through dangerous areas or hunting for dangerous Animals such as Wolves.
How to Upgrade Inspector Mode with Tracker
You can upgrade your Medieval Dynasty Inspector Mode with Tracker in the Hunting Skill Tree. It's a Tier 2 Skill, so you'll have to spend 1 Skill Point on any Tier 1 Skill first.
