Are you looking for Medieval Dynasty Caves? We have a helpful map to show you where they are -- along with advice on how caves in Medieval Dynasty work!
How Medieval Dynasty Caves Work
Medieval Dynasty Caves work much as you'd expect: they have valuable ore inside and you're not going to be able to see very well if you don't have a torch. You can mine Ore Nodes with a pickaxe and get Copper, Tin, and Salt right from the get-go.
We don't yet know for certain if these Ores respawn, but various conversations I've observed indicate that it resets every season. Either way, there should be plenty of Ore inside to get you set up with whatever it is you want to build in the immediate future.
How to Get Iron in Medieval Dynasty
A thorough exploration of Medieval Dynasty Caves may puzzle players who are searching for Iron. That's because the Iron is buried deep underground; the only way to get access to it is to build a Mine at the Cave entrance. This will unlock a lower level where you can mine Iron and light the interior of the Cave with torches, making it much easier to mine. You'll also be able to assign People from your villages to work in the Mine.
Medieval Dynasty Cave Locations
There are a total of five Medieval Dynasty Caves in the game. As you might expect, you're not going to find these Caves in the middle of nowhere; rather, they're often in mountainous areas or at the side of cliffs.
There are caves near Braniica, Lesnica, Jezerica, and Hornica, along with one Cave roughly in the middle of the game world; consult the map below to see where they are.
Medieval Dynasty Mine Locations
Even if you find a Cave, you're not going to be able to do much in the way of Crafting until you unlock the necessary buildings to take advantage of Copper, Tin, and Iron such as the Smithy. Make sure you have started building your town and that you understand the basics of the game before searching for a Cave.
There's one final word of caution: Caves are in mountainous areas, and that means that you could encounter Bears. Bears are one of the toughest enemies in the game, so don't take them lightly -- you may want to try to find a safer cave rather than fighting one of these hulking beasts.
