The Medieval Dynasty console release date has just been announced, and it's coming to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on October 6th. The title, which has recently received a massive Heir update adding over 40k words, family quests, and fast travel, will also be getting co-op next year. Simulation fans have also rewarded Render Cube and Toplitz Productions' efforts with over 1 million copies sold, even though the game is still in Early Access. Here's what Toplitz CEO Matthias Wünsche had to say about Medieval Dynasty's console release.
Releasing Medieval Dynasty on console is a big step for us as well as the developers. We want to expand our product portfolio across platforms and offer our titles to both PC and console gamers. Medieval Dynasty is the biggest console release in the company's history and we are very proud to continue the successful path we’ve already started together with Render Cube.
What is Medieval Dynasty?
Medieval Dynasty is a hybrid between RPG, survival sim, and strategy game that has players surviving in a medieval open world. It has a full 4 seasons of realistic weather, a day and night cycle, and many different buildings ranging from hay shacks to mansions. Players can play through questlines that will bring them closer to their medieval family while they also craft hundreds of pieces of equipment, including weapons, tools, furniture, and clothing. There are also plenty of animals to interact with, trees to knock down, fruit to pick, caves to explore, and much more.
If Medieval Dynasty looks like something in which you want to live a medieval life, you can do so on PC, where it's currently 25% off ($23.19 for the Standard Edition) on GOG. It's also available on Steam if you prefer that platform.
