Pathea Games has given a glimpse into what we can expect from the next major My Time at Sandrock update. It's scheduled to arrive sometime in late March or early April, and it'll add lots of new story content to the game, as well as a new helper you can hire and much more.
In a Steam post, Pathea says it's aware that fans have been waiting for an update for a while, and that the "long-awaited" new update will arrive soon. Some of the things Pathea wants to focus on include improvements to tools and machines, exciting new story content, and more things to do with your romantic interest.
First, Pathea says My Time at Sandrock is "reaching its story climax". You'll need to uncover the mystery of the Tiger, discover where the water has gone, and make yourself ready to keep Sandrock safe from the nefarious forces that want to see it fail. Plenty of other "questions and secrets" await you in this update as well.
As well as the new story stuff, you can also look forward to the arrival of Magic Mirror, a helper captured from Mole's Cave. Magic Mirror can assist you in "many aspects" of My Time at Sandrock, including helping you with sidequests. You'll get a discount based on your relationship level, too, so you might be able to save a little cash.
If you're a romantic sort, you can also look forward to expanded activities to enjoy with your date. These include romantic firework displays, "sand painting activities", and more romantic things to do. You need never worry about where to take your date in Sandrock again, it seems.
This next My Time at Sandrock update is scheduled to arrive sometime in either late March or early April, according to the devs. Plenty of features are in the pipeline for the finished game, including multiplayer gameplay and lots more. While you wait for the update (and, indeed, for the game's 1.0 release), why not take a look at our My Time at Sandrock guides to help you maximize your time in this dusty oasis?
