X is a surprisingly complex character and has his own events, a big one is when you build him a perch and try and help him make friends with CoCo the owl. You get a large relationship boost with both X and Fang for that and get to solve a mystery for Justice as part of the story.

X is a raven and as such, unavailable for marriage in the game.
