Survival: Fountain of Youth can be a challenging game and you'll likely faint at least once or twice in your journey. You can Craft equipment to better protect yourself and heal damage with Food or Medicine, but you'll have a difficult time fixing the "Near Death" status without finding some Living Water. Fortunately for you, our guide will tell you how Living Water works and where you can find it!

How Survival: Fountain of Youth Living Water Works

Survival: Fountain of Youth Living Water is a rare and essential item for long-term survival. This bottled water from the titular Fountain of Youth has amazing restorative powers and can remove a large portion of the "Near Death" maximum Health penalty that you get when you faint.

Living Water is undeniably a handy item, but you need to be careful with it and use it cautiously -- there are a limited number of bottles available in the game. To put it into context, the Bird Region (where you begin) only has 3 bottles and the Buffalo Region (where you can travel to with a Boat) has 5 bottles. If you use them all, you will be unable to remove the maximum health penalty from fainting.

Aside from removing some of the Near Death, Living Water will also instantly restore your Health. Again, don't use this carelessly -- there is only so much Living Water to go around and there is plenty of other Medicine available to heal yourself!

When Should I Use Living Water?

You should use Living Water when your maximum Health is reduced by half or more.
