Should you Side With Faelin or Faerin? | Remnant 2 Losomn Choice Guide

In the area of Losomn in Remnant 2, you’ll be faced with a choice – do you kill Faelin or Faerin? This guide will explain the perks of each, as well as how to get to them.

As you make your way through Losamn, you’ll be tasked with finding two masks. One is found in The Great Hall, and the other can be found in Malefic Palace.

Once you’ve obtained both masks, there’s a large circular device in front a massive door in the Palace Courtyard/Malefic Palace location. Slot both in, and the door will open. But wait! There’s more.

Using the lever, you can meet two different Fae in Losomn:

• Faerin (Dark Side of Circle / Malefic Palace)
• Faelin (Bright Side of Circle / Beatific Palace)

Now, these two don’t really like each other – and they want you to take down the other for a special reward. They’re super confused about who they are buy, hey what IS that reward?

Should you Kill Faerin or Faelin in Remnant 2?

Ultimately the choice is yours, and both are formidable opponents, but they each have a different reward that you'll get for completing them.

P.S. This boss hits real hard, so make sure you’ve leveled up your weapons and get REAL good at dodging, I got smacked by his swords so many times and having some healing and get the dodges down really helped.

What you get for siding with Faelin and Killing Faerin (Melee Weapon)

By choosing to challenge Faerin, you’ll get the Traitor Achievement and the Was this Supposed to Happen Achievement if this is your first alternate World Boss, plus the “Melded Heart” item, which lets Ava craft the Melee Weapon Godsplitter, pictured below:

You'll also get a ring, Faelin's Sigil (Melee damage generates 10% additional Mod Power) if you go back to Faelin and let them know you've kill Faerin.

What you get for siding with Faerin and Killing Faelin (Long Gun)

By choosing to challenge Faerin, you’ll get the Traitor Achievement as well as the “Imposter’s Heart” item, which lets Ava craft the long gun Deceit, pictured below:

You'll also get a ring, Faerin's Sigil (Critical and Weak Spot Hits generate 10% additional Mod Power) if you go back to Faerin and report that you killed Faelin.

Story Benefits – Faelin or Faerin

Once you’ve beaten one or the other, you’ll be taken to the Labyrinth to progress the story. There’s no specific change to the story depending on who you choose – it's primarily which item you’ll be able to craft with the special resource you're given.

If you want to get your hands on both items, you'll need to reset the game (you keep all character progress) to fight the other version and get access to the other weapon.
