Remnant 2 is filled to bursting with weapons of all kinds, and this guide has all of the details on each one. We’ll list out what it does and where you can get it in simple terms so you can start shooting up baddies quickly.

If you're just setting out - check out our Starter Guide. We also have a load of content on the original Remnant: From the Ashes which might whet your appetite.

In Remnant 2 weapons are broken down into three categories: Long Guns, Hand Guns, and Melee Weapons. We’ve used these 3 categories below to keep things simple. Keep this page bookmarked, as we'll add any extra weapons we continue to find find.

Remnant 2 Long Guns

Long guns are your main class of weapon in the game and will usually be the gun that does the bulk of the damage in your arsenal.

Rusty Lever Action

  • DMG: 55
  • RPS: 1.8
  • Magazine: 10
  • Weak Spot Damage Bonus: +100%
  • Stagger Modifier: 0

The Rusty Lever Action is a rifle that fires incredibly slowly and does pretty low damage. It's your starting weapon and should probably be traded out almost immediately unless you're a masochist. Also, it has no mod or mutator slots so you can't even enhance it that well.

Rusty Lever Action Location

You start the game with the Rusty Lever Action long gun.

XMG57 "Bonesaw"

XMG57 Bonesaw Screenshot of Weapon Panel from Remnant 2
  • DMG: 22.8
  • RPS: 9.5
  • Magazine: 150
  • Weak Spot Damage Bonus: +100%
  • Stagger Modifier: 0%

The XMG57 "Bonesaw" is an LMG that can really cut down your enemies, and has the ammo to back it up, but will leave you in the lurch when it comes to reloading.

XMG57 Location

Buy the XMG57 "Bonesaw" from Brabus in Ward 13 or choose the Field Medic Archetype at startup.

Widowmaker

  • DMG: 125
  • RPS: 2.4
  • Magazine: 1
  • Weak Spot Damage Bonus: +120%
  • Stagger Modifier: 20%

Widowmaker is a powerful sniper rifle, so it does a ton of damage but also fires incredibly slowly. A great choice for a crack shot, but probably not a favorite of the "pray and spray" set.

Widowmaker Location

Buy the Widowmaker from Brabus in Ward 13.

AS-10 Bulldog

AS-10 Bulldog screenshot of weapon panel from Remnant 2
  • DMG: 72
  • RPS: 2.5
  • Magazine: 12
  • Weak Spot Damage Bonus: +100%
  • Stagger Modifier: 10%

The AS-10 Bulldog is a powerful shotgun that can fire an impressive number of rounds before you start its laborious reloading animation.

Blackmaw AR-47

  • DMG: 17
  • RPS: 7.3
  • Magazine: 38
  • Weak Spot Damage Bonus: +100%

Buy the Blackmaw AR-47 from Brabus in Ward 13, or choose the Handler archetype at startup.

Coach Gun

  • DMG: 115
  • RPS: 2.3
  • Magazine: 2
  • Weak Spot Damage Bonus: +100%
  • Stagger Modifier: 10%

The coach gun is a beast of a weapon because it's basically a blunderbuss that is held together by a desire to see your enemies explode.

Coach Gun Location

Buy the Coach Gun from Brabus in Ward 13.

Huntmaster M1

Huntmaster M1 screenshot of weapon panel from Remnant 2
  • DMG: 70
  • RPS: 1.5
  • Magazine: 7
  • Weak Spot Damage Bonus: +110%
  • Stagger Modifier: 5%

The Huntmaster M1 is a decent carbine rifle so if you like to be in control of where every individual bullet is going it's the job for you. It's also the go-to choice for

Huntmaster M1 Location

Buy the Huntmaster M1 from Brabus in Ward 13 or by picking the Hunter Archetype at launch.

Wrangler 1860

  • DMG: 55
  • RPS: 2.1
  • Magazine: 10
  • Weak Spot Damage Bonus: 110%
  • Stagger Modifier: 0%

As it sounds, the Wrangler 1860 is basically a cowboy repeater. The decent damage and higher magazine size makes it a great compromise between a full carbine and a sniper rifle.

Wrangler 1860 Location

Buy the Wrangler 1860 from Brabus in Ward 13 or pick the Gunslinger archetype.

Twisted Arbalest

Twisted Arbalest screenshot of weapon panel from Remnant 2

Like Krillan's destructo-disc, but bouncier, this is almost a novelty gun, but gee-whiz it's fun watching enemies get sliced in half.

Twisted Arbalest Location

Defeat the Corruptor in Yaesha, killing the Robot at least once.

Crossbow

Crossbow screenshot of weapon panel from Remnant 2
  • DMG: 115
  • RPS: 3.4
  • Magazine: 1
  • Weak Spot Damage Bonus: +115%

The rusty repeater is an old and broken down piece of tech which only the most mad sort of player should attempt to take into the main game.

Rusty Repeater Location

You start the game with the Rusty Repeater.

Service Pistol

Service Pistol screenshot of weapon panel from Remnant 2
  • DMG: 24
  • RPS: 6.5

  • RPS: 2.4
  • Magazine: 5
  • Weak Spot Damage Bonus: +105%
  • Stagger Modifier: 20%

Silverback Model 500 Location

Buy the Silverback Model 500 from Brabus in Ward 13 or choose the Challenger Archetype at startup.

Repeater Pistol

Repeater Pistol screenshot of weapon panel from Remnant 2
  • DMG: 15
  • RPS: 7.5
  • Magazine: 15

Repeater Pistol Location

Buy the Repeater Pistol from Barbus in Ward 13 or choose the Hunter Archetype at startup.

Tech 22

Tech 22 screenshot of weapon panel from Remnant 2
  • DMG: 8
  • RPS: 16
  • Magazine: 30

  • DMG: 24
  • RPS: 7.5
  • Magazine: 5
  • Weak Spot Damage Bonus: +85%

  • Magazine: 2
  • Weak Spot Damage Bonus: +100%
  • Stagger Modifier: 0%

Double Barrel is exactly what it sounds like, a double-barrelled handgun, though handcanon is more appropriate. It'll take an enemies kneecaps off from 30 paces but it also only has 2 shots before a reload so make sure you hit every time or it's curtains.

Double Barrel Location

To receive Double Barrel you'll have to visit the Asylum in Losomn and unlock the safe in the doctor's office.

Remnant 2 Melee Weapons

When every other weapon has failed you, you will always have your trusty melee weapon to fall back on. Just make sure you don't try to rely on it too much. No one brings a knife to a gun fight.

Knuckle Dusters

Knuckle Dusters screenshot of weapon panel from Remnant 2

Can You Sell Weapons in Remnant 2?

So far, it appears as if there's no way to sell your old or unwanted weapons in Remnant 2. You can only sell crafting materials to most merchants. That said, there's a chance that somewhere hidden in the game is a weapon-buying merchant with a game this full of secrets.
