Before the Tekken 7 grand finals at EVO 2023, Bandai Namco announced two characters coming to Tekken 8, Raven and newcomer Azucena.
The news was shared by Tekken boss Katsuhiro Harada and producer Michael Murray (following a hilarious skit starring Yoshinori Ono), with a couple of new trailers.
We start with the return of Raven, and the secret agent certainly looks cool in the new game.
Yet, the true "queen" of the day is Azucena from Peru. She calls herself "coffee queen" and she appears to be positively obsessed with it. I can certainly relate, especially after two and a half days of EVO.
You can check out both characters in action in the trailers below.
Earlier during the livestream, Harada-san and Murray shared news about the Tekken World Tour 2023 finals, which will be hosted on January 13 and 14, 2024, in New Orleans, United States.
You can check out the dedicated trailer below.
Tekken 8 will release for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 and doesn't have a release date or window just yet. We already know that the game will support both Crossplay and Rollback Netcode.
If you'd like to see some more really spicy character trailers, you can take a look at those dedicated to Claudio Serafino, Brian Fury, Hwoarang, Lili De Rochefort, Asuka Kazama, Leroy Smith, Ling Xiaoyu, Jun Kazama, Jack-8, Lars Alexandersson, King, Marshall Law, Paul Phoenix, Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, and Nina Williams.
