Another Tekken 8 trailer has entered the ring, and this one's introducing the Dancing Phoenix herself, Ling Xiaoyu. As you might expect, Xiaoyu's combat style is quick and agile, so she's a good pick if you prefer grace and fluidity over big, lumbering titans like Jack-8.

Just yesterday, we got a look at Tekken mainstay Jun Kazama in action in the upcoming eighth installment of the long-running fighting game franchise, and other recent reveals include Jack-8 and Lars Alexandersson. Now, it's Xiaoyu's turn to take the stage, showing off what she can do in the new King of Iron Fist Tournament.

Xiaoyu's first opponent in the new trailer is Nina Williams, who's getting juggled constantly by the dancer's graceful strikes. She then moves on to battling King in an idyllic forest, blocking some of the wrestler's hefty blows before returning the favor in kind. You can take a look at Xiaoyu in action right here.

The trailer concludes with Xiaoyu using her Rage Art on King, and as you'd probably expect, Xiaoyu's Rage Art consists of lots of little strikes building up to a big finish. Not for her the giant cannon favored by Jack; she's much more about wars of attrition. If you're a Xiaoyu main, it looks like she's made the transition to Tekken 8 pretty much untouched, just like other series favorites.

We don't have a Tekken 8 release date yet, but more and more character trailers are being released, and with increasing frequency. The distance between each trailer is getting smaller, so hopefully, Bandai Namco will see fit to announce a release date soon and end the agonizing wait.

When it does launch, Tekken 8 will release for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Stay tuned for more character trailers and all the latest Tekken 8 news here at TechRaptor.
