Today Bandai Namco revealed another returning fighter who will be playable in the upcoming fighting game Tekken 8.
"Revealed" may be a bit of a misnomer, since the publisher's Instagram account leaked it ahead of time. The trailer was likely supposed to launch during the ongoing Combo Breaker 2023 tournament. Of course, it was removed, but the internet never forgets, so there's a backup thanks to Reddit user u/S0phon,
We get to see the return of Bryan Fury, who has been a regular in all Tekken games since his debut in Tekken 3. The trailer certainly shows that this former cop and zombie cyborg has not lost any of his brutality.
You can enjoy the trailer below. (Update: the official version of the trailer has been released)
Franchise boss Katsuhiro Harada himself took notice of the leak, and he was not pleased.

That's why I warned you years ago not to post on a timer.
Well,
I’m going home now thanks! Hahaha
Tekken 8 is coming for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 and doesn't have a release date or window just yet. We do know that the game will support both Crossplay and Rollback Netcode, as recently revealed by chief producer Katsuhiro Harada himself.
A few months ago, Bandai Namco hosted an extensive presentation at the Tekken World Tour 2022 finals, explaining how the gameplay will evolve from Tekken 7 thanks to a handful of new mechanics.
If you'd like to see some more really spiffy character trailers, we also recently saw those dedicated to Hwoarang, Lili De Rochefort, Asuka Kazama, Leroy Smith, Ling Xiaoyu, Jun Kazama, Jack-8, Lars Alexandersson, King, Marshall Law, Paul Phoenix, Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, and Nina Williams.
