Marshall Law challenging all comers in Tekken 8

Bandai Namco has released another Tekken 8 gameplay trailer, and this time, it's Marshall Law's moment to shine. The Legendary Dragon himself makes his triumphant return in the upcoming eighth installment of the iconic fighting game series, and it looks like he's making the transition to this sequel pretty much unscathed.

Last week, Paul Phoenix made his debut in his Tekken 8 showcase, and Marshall Law was effectively his punching bag. We speculated then that Law might want to get his own back when it came time for his trailer, and that's very much the case, as Paul takes a real beating in this new video. You can check out the new Tekken 8 Marshall Law gameplay trailer right here.

The trailer shows off Law's lightning-quick fighting style, as well as some of his most iconic moves and weapons. He's just as endearingly cocky as ever, laying the smackdown on Paul Phoenix with quick punches, kicks, and nunchaku blows. Thanks to the gorgeous graphics of Tekken 8, Law's Bruce Lee influence is easier to see than ever.

Of course, this wouldn't be much of a Marshall Law showcase if we didn't get to see his iconic Somersault Kick move, which he shows off in spades. After delivering a particularly devastating final blow to Paul, Law launches a flying kick towards the camera with plenty of attitude. If you've been a Law main since day one, it looks like your go-to character will be ready for action in Tekken 8 as well.

Tekken 8 is slated to arrive on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It'll boast completely new character models and will be built on Unreal Engine 5, which should make it a more visceral experience. We don't have a release window for the game yet, but more and more character showcases are being revealed as the weeks go by, so hopefully, it won't be long before we know when we can get our hands on Tekken 8. Stay tuned for more info.
