Bandai Namco has announced a teamup with restaurant chain Chipotle, and it'll allow you to grab some in-game currency for Tekken 8, although there's a pretty heavy catch.

According to a press release, the partnership will allow you to earn Tekken Coins by ordering items via the Chipotle app or website, and you'll also be able to exchange reward points for in-game currency.

The catch is that this promotion is only available on console, so if you're playing Tekken 8 on PC, you're out of luck, unfortunately. It's also limited to "up to the first 20,000 people" to claim, or "while supplies of up to 4,000 codes last" if you're swapping reward points.

I never had you pegged as a Chipotle fan, Jin.

If, however, you're lucky enough to be within that initial 20,000 (or the first 4,000 codes in the rewards program), then you'll get 500 Tekken Coins to do with as you please.

The partnership between Tekken 8 and Chipotle has also yielded a new menu item for the restaurant in the form of the Tekken 8 Battle Bowl, which will be available digitally via the app and the website "for a limited time".

Fans voted on what the Battle Bowl should contain earlier this year, and the winning combination consists of the following ingredients: chicken, white rice, black beans, fresh tomato salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, fajita veggies, cheese, and guac.

Naturally, the Battle Bowl is one of the items you can order if you want to be in with a chance of grabbing some Tekken Coins, so if you're a Chipotle fan, your ship has well and truly come in.

Tekken 8 is available right now for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S (although you won't be able to claim the aforementioned Chipotle rewards if you're a PC player).
