Today Bandai Namco released another brand-new trailer of the upcoming fighting game Tekken 8.
This time around, we get to see another of the Tekken series' traditional characters, the Leopard-masked pro wrestler King.
We get to see his entrance and some fighting against Marshall Law (who got his own trailer just a few days ago). Not only King looks like he hits like a truck, but he comes with the inevitable grappling moves and throws that you may expect from a pro wrestler.
You can watch him in action below. If you'd like to see more character trailer, we also recently saw Paul Phoenix, Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, and Nina Williams.
Tekken 8 is coming for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 and doesn't have a release date or window just yet.
Just recently, Bandai Namco hosted an extensive presentation at the Tekken World Tour 2022 finals, explaining how the gameplay will evolve from Tekken 7 thanks to a handful of new mechanics.
At the same time, we got the reveal that Fighting EX Layer developer Arika is helping with the development of the game, bringing a bit of Street Fighter DNA into the Tekken series.
Incidentally, a closed alpha test is coming to select locations around the world to gather feedback on the battle system of the game. It will be conducted on-site and in person. The first chance to try the game will be at EVO Japan 2023, but only players registered for the tournament will be admitted. More details on top of further locations will be shared at a later time. It remains to be seen whether Bandai Namco will host online beta events down the line. For the moment, we'll have to wait and see.
