Bandai Namco has dropped yet another Tekken 8 gameplay trailer, and this one is all about the Lion of the Rebellion himself, Lars Alexandersson. An illegitimate child of the Mishima family, Lars works to undermine his former sires, and the new trailer shows just how he intends to continue doing that in the new game.
In the last few weeks, we've had Tekken 8 trailers for King, martial arts master Marshall Law, and goofy fan favorite Paul Phoenix, among others, and now it's Lars' turn to shine. The new trailer shows Lars doing battle with Jack-8, the latest incarnation of the Jack series of robots, and as you'd imagine, Jack doesn't come out of the engagement very well. As the trailer commences, Lars' military background shines through, as he declares that he's acquired a target and that battle will commence. What follows is a demonstration of Lars' lightning-quick battle style, one in which he absolutely lays into Jack-8 and wrecks the poor mech.
It's not just Jack on the receiving end of Lars' ire, though. The second part of the trailer sees him go up against Kazuya Mishima, utilizing his devastating special move to destroy Kazuya and further the cause of the rebellion. Suffice it to say that Lars is out for blood in the newest Tekken game, so if you want to see the Mishima family brought to justice too, then you'll want to pick him up stat.
We don't have a release date for Tekken 8 just yet, unfortunately, but with so many characters being debuted and demonstrated, I can't imagine that we can be too far away from an announcement. When it does arrive, Tekken 8 will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Stay tuned to TechRaptor for more info about this long-awaited fighting sequel.
