Palia update 0.167 is here, and it's added the delightful Maji Market, as well as a new emote, new items, and more.
According to the patch notes, the Maji Market will be available for around a month, and it's open between 6pm and 3am in Palia time.
You'll be able to check out impressive fireworks displays, try mouth-watering treats, and play minigames to earn tickets, all while you're filling out your stamp card to claim new prizes and rewards.
Of course, if you do happen to check out the Maji Market grounds out-of-hours, you'll still be able to enjoy fishing and hanging out with whoever happens to be there at the time.
As well as Maji Market, you can also look forward to a new Sitting emote, which will give you a new way to relax with your friends.
Also being added in this update are more Found Item Quests, new Decor Items for your homestead, and changes to the gathering and crafting systems to make high-level hunting "more rewarding".
As part of Palia's upcoming monetization changes, the game's coin bundles have been adjusted, and new outfits have also been added to the Premium Store in case you want to celebrate the Maji Market in true local style.
Naturally, all of this comes alongside several bug fixes and more minor changes. You can check out the Palia update 0.167 patch notes here to see everything that's changed.

Even when the game does launch in full, Singularity 6 has clarified that it'll be free-to-play, so you won't have to pay any money to enjoy this rather adorable MMO-life sim hybrid.
You can check out Palia right now by heading over to the official site and signing up for the open beta. Be sure to check out our Palia guides for info on everything from catching bugs to cooking up a storm!
