Resident Evil Village Baby Monster Guide

After solving the Resident Evil Village mannequin puzzle in House Beneviento, you’ll be faced with one of the most grotesque villains in the game: the baby blob monster. There is no way to defeat the Resident Evil Village baby monster directly, so your best option is to run away.

It’s a good idea to take a look at your map so you know the route you want to run before you start stumbling blindly through the dark. Your aim is to get to the breaker box by the elevator. Run through the Doll Workshop and go through the Silver Key door, then through the white door and down the hall to the hole in the wall. Crouch down and crawl into the hole and make your way to the breaker box. Unlock it and retrieve the Relief of a Child item.

The power is still out, and you’ll need a fuse to restore it. Head to the door with an emblem of a mother on it and you’ll see a spot where you can place the Relief of a Child. The door will open, go down the stairs.

Getting the Fuse and Hiding from the Resident Evil Village Baby Monster

Head into the back bedroom and grab the fuse from the breaker box on the wall. This will knock out the power. To the right of the breaker box you’ll see a cabinet, open this up as you’ll need to hide in there in a moment. Return from where you came and head back up the stairs. The baby monster will appear once again, but this time you’ll be able to hide.

Run back to the bedroom, head into the cabinet and shut the door. Stay there until you can’t hear the baby anymore, then you’re clear to return upstairs.

Head back to the elevator, place the fuse in the breaker box and get ready to run again. The Resident Evil baby monster will appear and chase you down. Head through the door on the left and wait for the baby blob to follow. You can run around the table and back into the hall to call the elevator. Once the elevator arrives, run inside and hit the button to close the gates. If timed right, the doors should close before the baby monster is able to get you! Say bye bye baby and continue exploring House Beneviento.
