Coral Island Gift Guide

There are over 70 characters to meet and greet in Coral Island in total, and that is a lot of people to get to know and possibly build a meaningful relationship with. The relationship building in this game is quite expansive, and it is no easy feat to make one of the characters crack a smile. In this Coral Island gift guide, we are going to discuss how to form a relationship with the in-game characters, what you can do to pique their interest, and which characters are datable. 

How to Build Relationships in Coral Island

While there may be 70 total characters within the game to discover, as of right now there are only 25 datable characters. How exactly do you get one of the available characters to enjoy your company? Gifts of course! Not just anything will do though, each character has likes, loves, dislikes, and hates, and it is up to you to figure out fully what each one of those is. One of the upsides is that quite a few players like flowers, the downside being if you find one that doesn't, that makes their relationship level with you go down. The more good gifts you give them, the more hearts you will get on their specific character menu; the more bad gifts you give the more that bar goes down.

As you build relationships with each character, more of their backstory and interests come to light, giving you an opportunity to see each of them for who they really are. While you progress your relationships of choice, you will unlock cutscenes which also trigger quests for that specific character to build the relationship even further. This is what leads to them liking you, and even dating you in the future. 

Coral Island Gifts List - Datable Characters

With so many great dating candidates to choose from, it's a real balancing act to figure out what they like and what they don't. More so, players are free to date whichever character they choose that is datable, meaning that any gender or identity is free to date whichever gender or identity they so choose. There are currently three unknown datable characters in-game that the devs have yet to reveal as well.

To simplify things just a bit, we did some research as to what each of the characters likes, loves, dislikes, and hates. Here is what we have found so far for the datable Coral Island characters:

Aaliyah

Charles

Charles is the local doctor at the Clinics. He uses his free time to catch up with the islanders at the Tavern or goes around giving out medical advice. Ben has severe allergies to flowers from what it seems, so he hates them as gifts. Charles's pronouns are He/Him, and his birthday is Winter 4.

Eva

Yuri spent years doing the Universal Doctors Program around the world where she received little to no pay before settling down in Coral Island and working at the Clinics there.
