Despite PC being a term that should cover most computers, it is nowadays generally used to refer to machines running a Windows operating system. PC users have access to games in a number of ways, with the most common modern source being via Valve's digital distribution service Steam. Games can also be downloaded DRM-free, though this is becoming increasingly less common.
