Fiorayne saying she'll see you in Kamura Village for the new Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Title Update 5 digital showcase

Capcom has announced that the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Title Update 5 digital showcase will air next week. We'll learn lots of new information about the upcoming update, including the return of an Elder Dragon, as well as features like new melding pots, weapon adjustments, and more.

In a short teaser for the upcoming showcase, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak's Dame Fiorayne reads out a letter from the incorrigible Elder Fugen, inviting you to watch the Title Update 5 showcase on April 19th (which is next Wednesday). The showcase will air at 10am Eastern and will, according to Fiorayne herself, be full of info about "the new content and the release date".

In the last presentation for a Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Title Update, we got info about new monsters, an Anomaly Research Lab update, and paid DLC coming to the game. It's likely that the showcase for Title Update 5 will reveal similar things, so it's sure to be a must-watch if you're a Monster Hunter fan.

Thanks to various posts on the game's Steam page courtesy of director Yoshitake Suzuki, we know a few features that are making their way to Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak in the next update. These include new Melding Pot types, as well as new decorations and more. We also know that a "fearsome Elder Dragon" is making its return to the game, so stay tuned for more info on that.

Monster Hunter Rise and its expansion continue to dominate in terms of sales. At last count back in February, Rise had reached 12 million sales, and before that, in January, Capcom announced that expansion Sunbreak had topped the 5 million sales mark. It's likely those numbers are even bigger now, which will be encouraging to Capcom and to fans of the franchise.

You can grab Monster Hunter Rise right now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Sunbreak is currently available on PC and Switch, and it's headed to PlayStation and Xbox later this month on April 28th. Do be sure to take a look at our Monster Hunter Rise guides so you can get started on your monster-slaying journey (if you haven't already!).
