Developer Pocketpair released two new trailers of its upcoming Pokemon-style game Palworld, showing two more of the "pals" that we'll be able to play with.
Of course, this game version of "play with" translates as "do untold violence upon" as by now you probably know that this game isn't for the Pokemon fans with a weak stomach.
Specifically, the first trailer is about Faleris, described as "the master of the fiery mountain, who engulfs the land in scorching whirlwinds to hunt its prey."
The second trailer showcases Robinqill, which is basically the Pokemon-non-Pokemon version of Robin Hood, defined as "a Pal that lives a life of hunting in the forest and bears striking similarities to humans."
Of course, each trailer continues to ramp up the action as more and more Pals are used pretty much as weapons to subdue our two protagonists of the week. It's wacky, but I'm sure there are many who hold enough of a grudge against Pokemon who would enjoy this.
If you're unfamiliar with Palworld, it will will launch in early accession PC via Steam in January 2024.
If you'd like to see more of this interesting and definitely unique new take on the Pokemon formula, you can check out another trailer released yesterday, one more, an older one, one featuring Anubis, one focusing on Dinossom, one showcasing Gobfin, one showing off Eikthyrdeer, more showcasing the Pikachu-like Grizzbolt and Lifmunk, and another pair showing TocoToco and Loupmoon.
