A new trailer of the upcoming Pokemon-like action-adventure RPG Palworld released by Poketpair shows why you should never stand in front of a deer.
The trailer focuses on a Pal named Eikthyrdeer, and it's basically a very, very angry purple deer that has the ability to mow everything in front of it. On top of that, you can also use it as a mount for additional mayhem.
While it's actually very cute, it's definitely not your everyday Bambi. The developers describe it as "Eikthyrdeer, whose magnificent horn is not only a sign of strength but a powerful weapon that pushes away all those in its path."

This trailer is part of the "Paldeck" series, showcasing the "Pals" that you're able to fight, capture, and befriend in Palworld. Yes, it's called "Paldeck." The folks at Pocketpair certainly don't make any effort to hide their source of inspiration. When it's this obvious, may as well just go ahead and own it.
If you're unfamiliar with Palworld, it will will release in early accession PC via Steam in January 2024.
