Android is an operating system used by most non-Apple smartphones. Games can be downloaded in a number of ways, such as the Google Play Store on supported devices. This service also offers a monthly subscription in the form of the Google Play Pass, giving you access to a number of games while you're subscribed — unlike Apple Arcade, there are no exclusive titles on the Google Play Pass.

The very first release of Android was made available on September 23, 2008. Many numbered releases have happened since then, with the operating system reaching Android 13 as of 2022.
