Today HoYoverse released a new trailer of its ultra-popular turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail, focusing on the equally popular Stellaron Hunter Kafka.
The trailer focuses on Kafka's past, as she shows every bit of just how bad, elegant, charming, crazy, and absolutely adorable she can be, all in one neat package.
This is quite unlike her first trailer, which was pretty much an introduction, and the second, which was a deep dive into her gameplay.
We get the video both in English, which you can enjoy below, and a Japanese version (which you can watch at the official YouTube channel).
While the English version is voiced by Cheryl Texiera, the Japanese voice-overs feature the wonderful voice of Shizuka Ito.
Her name may ring a bell for her role as Sailor Venus in Sailor Moon Crystal, Touko Kazama in the original Muv-Luv Alternative, Byleth in Fire Emblem Heroes, Yotsuyu in Final Fantasy XIV, Meiko Shiraki in Prison School, and many, many more famous roles.
Incidentally, Kafka's event warp (the game's version of gacha banners) is ongoing, so you still have some time to add her to your team if you haven't already.
Honkai: Star Rail is available for PC through a standalone client and the Epic Games Store, as well as on iOS and Android devices. Although the developers have announced that they are working on a PlayStation 5 port, no specific release date has been shared besides "Q4 2023" for now.
If you'd like to see more about Honkai: Star Rail, you can take a look at the character trailers revealed in the past few months including Yanquing himself, Bailu, Himeko, Gepard, Jing Yuan, Silver Wolf, Luocha, Yukong, and Luka.
