Today HoYoverse announced that pre-registration for its upcoming turn-based RPG Honkai: Star Rail has been opened.
You can pre-register on the official website to earn a bunch of rewards depending on the total number of pre-registrations. 500,000 earn everyone 50,000 credits. One million pre-registrations bring 3 Star Rail Passes. Two million will unlock the "Trailbrazer - Welcome" avatar. 3.5 million will unlock the four-star character Serval. Five million will earn all players 15 Star Rail Passes. Crazy as it sounds, it appears that we're already at over a million.
At the moment, a full release date has not been announced just yet, but it shouldn't be too far given today's news.
In the meanwhile, you can check out the trailer below introducing one of the game's characters, Bailu.
Honkai: Star Rail is coming for PC via the Epic Games Store, iOS, and Android.
If you're unfamiliar with it, here's how the developer describes the game's world.
"In this universe, there are the [Aeons], incarnations of universal principles that are able to freely travel between infinite worlds using some kind of primitive force. The galaxy is packed with varied worlds that have unique landscapes and stories; the [Aeons] roaming the universe uphold their own beliefs. The protagonist, who was implanted with a [Stellaron], embarks on a trip aboard the Astral Express with a group of passengers who claim to have inherited the spirit of [the Trailblaze]. Together they will pursue the trails of [Aeons] to explore the realms of the universe."
