Kafka is without a doubt one of Honkai: Star Rail's most-anticipated characters and her gacha is coming very, very soon.
Many fans have been waiting for her arrival as a playable character with very visible anticipation, and how can you blame them? Not only is Kafka absolutely lethal and beautiful as you'd expect from the perfect RPG villainess, but she's also very important in the story, having played a primary role since the very first scene.
Her gacha will be available starting tomorrow, August 9, and I am ready to bet that untold millions of Stellar Jade (and a whole lot of real money) will be spent in trying to get her to drop. Wallets will be very, very badly hurt.
Kafka's gacha marks the start of the second phase of Honkai: Star Rail's version 1.2 following another highly popular character, Blade.
She is voiced in English by Cheryl Texiera and in Japanese by an absolute superstar, Shizuka Ito. Her name may ring a bell for her role as Sailor Venus in Sailor Moon Crystal, Touko Kazama in the original Muv-Luv Alternative, Byleth in Fire Emblem Heroes, Yotsuyu in Final Fantasy XIV, Meiko Shiraki in Prison School, and many, many more roles.

Honkai: Star Rail is a free-to-play turn-based RPG. It's available for PC through a standalone client and the Epic Games Store, as well as on iOS and Android devices. Although the developers have announced that they are working on a PlayStation 5 port, no specific release date has been shared besides "Q4 2023" for now.
