Today HoYoverse released the highly-anticipated version 1.2 of its popular RPG Honkai: Star Rail, including the new character Blade.
Following the trailer that showcased Blade's backstory, today we get another video to celebrate his availability in the gacha, all about his abilities and gameplay.
He's a five-star Wind and Destruction character, which is certainly nice because the game was in dire need of a five-star Wind character with strong damage output. He's also pretty much the edgiest character you'll ever see.
Blade is voiced by Daman Mills in English and Shin-ichiro Miki in Japanese. You may know him as Zenkichi Hasegawa in Persona 5 Strikers, Akira Yuki in the Virtua Fighter series, Sanada Yukimura in Nioh, Enoch in El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron, and more.
The update also includes a continuation of the story and plenty more content in the form of events. You can check out the trailer below.
Honkai: Star Rail is a turn-based RPG that can be played for free. It's available for PC through a standalone client and the Epic Games Store, as well as on iOS and Android devices. Although the developers have announced that they are working on a PlayStation 5 port, no specific release date has been shared besides "Q4 2023" for now.
If you'd like to see more about Honkai: Star Rail, you can check out the character trailers revealed in the past few months including Yanquing himself, Bailu, Himeko, Gepard, Jing Yuan, Silver Wolf, Luocha, and Yukong.
