Today Colossal Order released another trailer showing off the upcoming and highly-anticipated city-builder Cities: Skylines 2, focusing on progression.
The trailer showcases how you can help your city grow from a town to a metropolis.
The game has 20 milestones that you can unlock as your city makes progress. Each milestone awards you with expansion permits to buy new tiles, development points to unlock city services and their expansion, and money.
Of course, unlocking the services doesn't mean you're building them. You need to spend money to actually build them.
Milestones are unlocked with expansion points that are awarded passively as population and happiness increase, and actively as you build infrastructure.
You can check out the video below.
Cities: Skylines 2 launches on October 24, 2023, for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. It'll also launch on Xbox Game Pass on day one.
