Today Colossal Order and Paradox Entertainment released another trailer of the upcoming city builder Cities: Skylines II, focusing on music and sounds.

The soundscape of your city is certainly no less important than the visuals, and the trailer shows how different buildings and vehicles produce audio cues to immerse you in the soundscape.

People and animals will produce appropriate audio, while vehicles sound differently depending on how fast they go. Sirens are also appropriate to the American or European themes, depending on your choice.

There are two different radio networks in the game, playing music and broadcasting announcements that will let you know about the latest news and issues you need to tackle. Of course, this includes disaster alerts.

We also hear how the game uses audio grouping to avoid throwing too many sounds at the player, keeping the spotlights on the relevant ones.
