Today HoYoverse fully revealed version 1.3 of Honkai: Star Rail, titled "Celestial Eyes Above Mortal Ruins."
We learn that the new version will release on August 30 and we take a look at a brand new trailer introducing the update, focusing on the two five-star characters that will be introduced, Dan Heng: Imbibitor Lunae and Fu Xuan, alongside the new four-star character, Lynx.
On top of that, the trailer hints at the new Simulated Universe content titled "The Swarm Disaster." You can watch it below.
Imbibitor Lunae, A.K.A. powered-up Dan Heng, is a five-star Imaginary character following the path of Destruction, and we get to see him in action in the livestream.
Afterward, it's time for Fu Xuan to take the stage. She's a five-star Quantum character following the path of Preservation.
Lastly, we take a look at Lynx, a four-star Quantum character following the path of Abundance.
Of course, there will be new Light Cones, "Brighter than the Sun" (five-star Destruction) and "She Already Shut Her Eyes" (five-star Preservation).
The first event warp "Epochal Spectrum" phase will include Imbibitor Lunae, Yukong, Asta, & March 7th. The second phase "Foreseen, Foreknown, Foretold" includes Fu Xuan, Lynx, Hook, and Pela.
Honkai: Star Rail version 1.3 also includes four new companion missions for Imbibitor Lunae, Lynx, March 7th, and Luka.
Of course, there'll be plenty of new events, including Aurum Alley's Hustle and Bustle (which will then be included in the game as a permanent mode), the aforementioned Simulate Universe: The Swarm Disaster (which will also be added to the Simulated Universe permanently), Space Station Task Force, Garden of Plenty,
Interestingly, a new feature coming with Honkai: Star Rail is smartphone wallpapers. Two new Stagnant Shadow stages will be added as well, dropping the materials for the traces of Imbibitor Lunae and Fu Xuan.
The Trailbraze Power Cap will be increased from 180 to 240. On top of that, if you get to the top, it'll add to an overflow pool, so you won't lose it as it happens now.
You can watch the full livestream below.
As with all HoYoverse livestream, we get new bonus codes that you can use to grab some Astral Jades and more goodies.
Honkai: Star Rail is currently available for PC through a standalone client and the Epic Games Store, as well as on iOS and Android devices. Although the developers have announced that they are working on a PlayStation 5 port, no firm release date has been shared besides "Q4 2023" for now.
