Our guide tells you the best way to find all of the Enshrouded resources you'll need for crafting including wood, ore, plants, monster loot, and more!
A big part of Enshrouded is crafting new gear and adding cool new stuff to your base, but you're going to need all sorts of crafting and building resources to make that happen. In this guide, we'll tell you the best way to find all of the crafting resources you need to save the world of Embervale!
Do Resources Respawn?
Yes, resources will respawn in Enshrouded, though only under certain conditions. Resources will immediately respawn if you shut down the game or shut down the server and restart it. Beyond that, it seems that resources will respawn after a period of time, probably an in-game day or so.
This also applies to terrain changes; if you dig a path up a cliff in the world, it will eventually return back to its natural state.
Keep in mind that this doesn't apply to the area of your base protected by a Flame Altar; any resources mined within that area or changes made to the terrain will persist until you remove the Flame Altar.
Best Way to Get All Resources in Enshrouded
Here's the best way to get all of the resources in Enshrouded that we've found so far!
Where to Get Alchemical Base
You can get Alchemical Base by crafting it at the Alchemy Station.
Where to Get Aloe
You can get Aloe by harvesting its plants in the Nomad Highlands.
Where to Get Amber
You can find Amber in the Shroud in the north side of Revelwood.
Where to Get Ammonia Gland
You can most easily get Ammonia Glands by chopping down gigantic mushrooms in the tougher areas of the Shroud. You can also get it by killing the 4-legged red enemies in the Kindlewastes.
Antiseptic
You can get Antiseptic by crafting it in the Alchemy Station.
Where to Get Animal Fur
You can get Animal Fur by killing most hostile large animals such as wolves. You can also craft it at the Hunter NPC once you've unlocked her.
Where to Get Aureolion Flower
You can find Aureolion Flower in the Springlands. An easy place to find it is by going to the gardens north of Woodgard.
Where to Get Azure Russula
You can find Azure Russula in the Shroud locations in Revelwood and later areas.
Where to Get Bell Pepper
You can find Bell Pepper throughout the Nomad Highlands. It's easiest to find it by visiting one of the abandoned farms.
Where to Get Black Powder
You can craft Black Powder in the Laboratory.
Where to Get Blue Fabric
Blue Fabric can be collected in buildings and Ancient Spires in the Nomad Highlands and Kindlewastes. You can also craft it at the Hunter.
Where to Get Bonemeal
You can get Bonemeal by putting Bones into a Grinding Stone; the Grinding Stone requires the Alchemist NPC.
Where to Get Bones
You can get Bones by killing larger hostile animals such as Wolves. You can also dig up Bones from the piles of Bones in the Hollow Halls.
Where to Get Bronze Bars
You can get Bronze Bars by putting Copper Bars, Tin Bars, and Charcoal into the Smelter; getting the Smelter requires the Blacksmith NPC.
Where to Get Bug Dust
You can craft Bug Dust at the Alchemist NPC.
Where to Get Chamomile
You can get Chamomile by harvesting Chamomile plants in Revelwood.
Where to Get Charcoal
You can get Charcoal by putting Wood Logs in a Charcoal Kiln. The Charcoal Kiln is unlocked once you rescue the Blacksmith NPC.
Where to Get Coal Powder
You can get Coal Powder by crafting it at the Grinding Stones once you've unlocked the recipe.
Where to Get Copper Bar
You can get Copper Bar by putting Copper Bars in the Smelter (which requires the Blacksmith NPC).
Where to Get Copper Ore
You can get Copper Ore by mining Copper veins in Revelwood.
Where to Get Corncob
You can find Corncob in the Springlands; it's easiest to get it by visiting farms in the area.
Where to Get Critter Parts
You can get Critter Parts by killing the small bugs in the Shroud.
Where to Get Desert Flower
Where to Get Dirt
Unsurprisingly, you can get Dirt by digging the ground with your Pickaxe in the early areas of the game. Later areas can have different resources in place of Dirt such as Sand in the Kindlewastes.
Where to Get Dried Fur
You can get Dried Fur by placing Animal Fur in a Drying Rack along with Salt. The Drying Rack is unlocked through the Hunter NPC.
Where to Get Dried Purple Berry
You can get a Dried Purple Berry by putting a Purple Berry in the Drying Rack (which you unlock via the Hunter NPC).
Where to Get Ectoplasm Crystal
You can only get Ectoplasm Crystal by defeating elite enemies in the Kindlewastes Hollow Halls dungeon.
Where to Get Ectoplasm Fragment
You can get Ectoplasm Fragment in all Hollow Halls dungeons. Elite enemies in the Springlands Hollow Halls will drop this as part of their loot on death.
Additionally, you can also get Ectoplasm Fragment by digging up the glowing green crystals contained within piles of Bones in the Hollow Halls.
Where to Get Ectoplasm Shard
You can get Ectoplasm Shard by defeating enemies in mid-level Hollow Halls dungeons. You can most easily acquire these by defeating elite enemies in The Nomad Highlands Hollow Halls.
Where to Get Enshrouded Oil
You can get Enshrouded Oil by crafting it in the Laboratory.
Where to Get Fabric
You can get Fabric by crafting it at the Loom.
Where to Get Farm Soil
You can craft Farm Soil at the Farmer NPC using a combination of Dirt and Bonemeal.
Where to Get Fell Monstrosity Head
You can get a Fell Monstrosity Head by killing a Fell Monstrosity in the Shroud. You can find a Fell Monstrosity northwest of the Ancient Spire in the Nomad Highlands.
Where to Get Fell Sicklescythe Head
Fell Sicklescythe Heads can be acquired by a Fell Sicklescythe in the Shroud. Fell Sicklecythes can be found in Sun Temples and Elixir Wells around Kindlewastes.
Where to Get Fell Thunderbrute Head
You can get a Fell Thunderbrute Head by heading to the Elixir Well directly north of the Cinder Vault where you start the game.
Where to Get Fell Wispwyvern Head
You can get a Fell Wispwyvern Head by killing a Fell Wispwyvern in the Shroud. You can find a Fell Wispwyvern in Pikemead's Reach.
Where to Get Fertilised Farm Soil
You can get Fertilised Farm Soil by combining Sand, Fossilized Bone Dust, and Nitrate at the Farmer NPC.
Where to Get Fire Fly
You can get Fire Fly by hunting them at night; look for the Fire Fly's light source in the darkness.
Where to Get Fired Brick
You can get Fired Brick by placing a Lump of Clay and Wood Logs in the Kiln. The Kiln is acquired through the Carpenter NPC.
Where to Get Flax
You can find Flax in Revelwood by harvesting Flax plants.
Flax is needed for making Linen and you're going to need a fair amount of Linen after you get past the first few zones, so plan on farming a large amount of it!
Where to Get Flint
You can get Flint in the Springlands and Low Meadows by harvesting a Flint node with a Pickaxe.
Where to Get Flour
You can get Flour by placing Wheat Grains in Grinding Stones. You'll need the Alchemist NPC in order to add the Grinding Stones to your base.
Where to Get Forest Beet
You can get Forest Beets by harvesting them in Revelwood; they are most easily found by visiting farms in that biome.
Where to Get Fossilized Bone
You can get Fossilized Bone by mining the massive skeletons found in the Nomad Highlands.
Where to Get Fossilized Bone Dust
Fossilized Bone Dust can be acquired by placing Fossilized Bone in the Grinding Stones, a workbench that is unlocked via the Alchemist NPC.
Where to Get Fur Patch
You can get Fur Patch by killing small mammals (such as Rabbits) in all biomes.
Where to Get Giant Bones
You can get Giant Bones by defeating a Hollow Cyclops in all Hollow Halls dungeons after the Springlands Hollow Halls. The Cyclops is a boss in the Revelwood Hollow Halls and a miniboss in The Nomad Highlands and Kindlewastes Hollow Halls.
Where to Get Glass
Glass can be acquired by combining Sand and Charcoal in a Smelter (which you unlock via the Blacksmith NPC).
Where to Get Glow Dust
You can craft Glow Dust at the Alchemist NPC by grinding up a Fire Fly.
Where to Get Goo
Goo can be crafted at the Alchemist NPC by combining Dirt, Shroud Liquid, and Bug Dust.
Where to Get Green Fabric
Green Fabric can be collected in buildings and Ancient Spires in the Nomad Highlands and Kindlewastes. You can also craft it at the Hunter.
Where to Get Hardwood
You can get Hardwood by chopping down the larger Hardwood trees in Revelwood.
Where to Get Hazelnut
You can harvest Hazelnut plants in Revelwood. As with most crops, you can find larger quantities by visiting farms in the area.
Where to Get Hollow Cyclops Head
You can get a Hollow Cyclops Head by killing a Hollow Cyclops in any Hollow Halls dungeon except for the first dungeon in the Springlands. The Hollow Cyclops is a boss in the Revelwood Hollow Halls and a miniboss in The Nomad Highlands and Kindlewastes Hollow Halls.
Where to Get Honey
You can get Honey (along with Wax) by destroying Bee Hives in most biomes.
Where to Get Indigo
You can harvest Indigo plants in Revelwood -- make sure to visit farms in the area to get larger quantities of this plant!
Where to Get Iron Bars
You can get Iron Bars by placing Iron Ore and Charcoal in the Smelter, a workbench that's unlocked via the Blacksmith NPC.
Where to Get Iron Ore
You can find Iron Ore veins in Kindlewastes; Ridgeback Mine to the southwest of the local Ancient Spire is a good place to get it (as long as you can survive the Shroud).
Where to Get Lapis Lazuli
Lapis Lazuli can be found in the Kindlewastes, especially in areas toward the northern border of the biome.
Where to Get Leather
You can craft Leather at a Tanning Station by combining Dried Fur, Salt, and Ammonia Gland. The Tanning Station is unlocked via the Hunter NPC.
Where to Get Limestone
You can get Limestone by digging rocks in the Nomad Highlands.
Where to Get Linen
Linen can be manufactured at the Hand Spindle using Flax. The Hand Spindle is unlocked at the Hunter NPC.
You're going to need a fair amount of Linen for crafting some of the later upgrades and armors, so make sure to grow Flax in quantity!
Where to Get Luminous Growth
You can find Luminous Growth in some underground areas starting in Revelwood. The most easily accessible location we've found is the cave to the northeast of the Abandoned Hunter Camp; the Luminous Growth can be found in the ceiling of a cave filled with Spiders.
Where to Get Lump of Clay
Lump of Clay can be acquired by digging Clay veins in Revelwood with your Pickaxe.

Where to Get Metal Sheets
You can get Metal Sheets by combining Metal Scraps and Charcoal at the Forge, a workbench unlocked at the Blacksmith NPC.
Where to Get Mint Mushroom Meat
Mint Mushroom Meat can be acquired by chopping down giant green mushrooms in the Shroud.
Where to Get Mycelium
You can get Mycelium by digging up glowing blue ground and mushroom terrain in and near the Shroud.
Where to Get Nails
Nails can be crafted from Metal Scraps at the Blacksmith NPC.
Where to Get Nitrate
You can get Nitrate by crafting it at the Laboratory.
Where to Get Old Books
Old Books can be found in buildings throughout the land; simply walk up to a book and interact with it to dismantle it.
Where to Get Padding
You can get Padding by crafting it at the Hunter NPC once you've unlocked the recipe.
Where to Get Palm Wood Logs
Palm Wood Logs can be acquired by chopping down palm trees in the Kindlewastes.
Where to Get Paper
You can get Paper by crafting it at the Laboratory.
Where to Get Plant Fiber
You can get Plant Fiber by destroying most smaller plants in all biomes.
Where to Get Poison Sack
You can get Poison Sacks by killing the orange living plants in Revelwood or the green 4-legged creatures.
Where to Get Purple Berries
You can get Purple Berries by harvesting berry bushes in the Springlands starting area.
Where to Get Raw Bird Meat
As you might expect, you can get Raw Bird Meat by killing birds wherever you might find them.
Where to Get Raw Game
You can get Raw Game by killing larger predatory mammals such as the tigers in the Nomad Highlands.
Where to Get Raw Lean Meat
You can get Raw Lean Meat by killing smaller mammals in all biomes.
Where to Get Raw Sand Digger Meat
You can get Raw Sand Digger Meat by killing Sand Diggers in the Kindlewastes.
Where to Get Raw Wolf Meat
You can get Raw Wolf Meat by killing Wolves in any biome.
Where to Get Red Fabric
You can get Red Fabric by finding it in towers and other structures in the Nomad Highlands and beyond. You can also craft it at the Hunter.
Where to Get Red Mushroom
You can harvest Red Mushrooms in the Springlands.
Where to Get Resin
You can get Resin as a byproduct of cutting down most trees.
Where to Get Rooibos
You can get Rooibos by harvesting the Rooibos plant in the Nomad Highlands.
Where to Get Saffron
You can harvest the Saffron plant in the Kindlewastes. You can easily spot it by looking for its vibrant purple and red colors; it stands out in contrast to the bleak desert of the Kindlewastes.
Where to Get Sage Leaves
You can get Sage by harvesting the Sage plant in the Nomad Highlands.
Where to Get Salt
Salt can be acquired in the salt mines in the Sprinlands and Low Meadows.
Where to Get Sand
You can get Sand by digging the ground in the Kindlewastes with your Pickaxe. Sand is this region's equivalent of Dirt; you can easily get it anywhere in the entire region.
Where to Get Sandstone
Sandstone can be acquired by digging up rocks in the Kindlewastes with your Pickaxe. Sandstone is this region's equivalent of Stone.
Where to Get Scales
You can get Scales by killing Sand Diggers in the Kindlewastes. Sand Diggers also yield a unique type of meat which is used in some of the best Cooking recipes for this level of content.
Where to Get Scavenger Matron Head
You can get a Scavenger Matron Head by killing the Scavenger Matron at the Hill of Scavengers.

Where to Get Shroud Wood
You can get Shroud Wood by chopping down trees anywhere within the Shroud.
Where to Get Spark
Spark can be acquired by activating a Flame Shrine or a Flame Sanctum anywhere on the map.
Where to Get Spice
You can craft Spice at the Laboratory.
Where to Get Stinging Nettle
You can harvest Stinging Nettle by finding its plant in Revelwood.
Where to Get Steel
As far as we can tell, Steel is not yet available for crafting in the game; it will likely arrive in a later update.
Where to Get Stone
You can get Stone by digging rocks with your Pickaxe in most biomes. Keep in mind, however, that rocks may give you other resources in other biomes (such as Sandstone in Kindlewastes).
Where to Get Straw
You can get Straw by harvesting the Wheat plant, whether you find it in the wild or grow it on your own farm.
Where to Get String
You can craft String in your hand from Plant Fiber. You can also loot String throughout the world and occasionally get it as a drop from some enemies such as Spiders.
Where to Get Sugar Cane
Sugar Cane can be acquired by harvesting the Sugar Cane plant in the Nomad Highlands.
Where to Get Sulfur
You can mine Sulfur Deposits in the Nomad Highlands. Look for clumps of bright yellow rocks in the ground.
Where to Get Tar
You can craft Tar at the Charcoal Kiln, a workbench that is unlocked via the Blacksmith NPC. The recipe for Tar will be automatically unlocked once you craft Charcoal for the first time.
You can also get Tar by overcooking food at a Fireplace or by letting a Campfire burn out.
Where to Get Tin Bars
You can get Tin Bars by placing Tin Ore and Charcoal in the Smelter. The Smelter is unlocked via the Blacksmith NPC.
Where to Get Tin Ore
You can get Tin Ore by mining Tin veins in the Nomad highlands; it's most easily found in the northern cliffs of the biome.
Where to Get Tomato
You can find Tomato plants in the Springlands, especially in the abandoned farms to the northwest of the starting area and the surrounding land.
Where to Get Torn Cloth
You can get Torn Cloth by killing Scavengers and looting their camps in most biomes. You can also get Torn Cloth by killing the elite enemies in the Hollow Halls.
Where to Get Twigs
Twigs can be acquired by destroying smaller plants and chopping down trees in any biome.

Where to Get Wax
You can get Wax by destroying Bee Hives in most biomes; you'll also get Honey when you break one.
Where to Get Wheat Grains
You can get Wheat Grains by harvesting Wheat plants in the Nomad Highlands. Naturally, you can get them by farming Wheat as well.
Where to Get Wood Acid
You can get Wood Acid by crafting it in the Charcoal Kiln (which is unlocked via the Blacksmith NPC). You'll unlock the Wood Acid recipe once you craft Charcoal for the first time.
Where to Get Wood Logs
You can get Wood Logs by chopping down most trees in the world with the exception of trees in the Shroud and certain trees in Revelwood and the Kindlewastes.
Where to Get Wood Planks
You can get Wood Planks by placing Wood Logs in the Table Saw; you'll need to unlock the Carpenter and other NPCs in order to get the Table Saw.
Where to Get Yellow Fabric
You can get Yellow Fabric by finding it in towers and abandoned structures in the Nomad Highlands and later areas. You can also craft it at the Hunter.
Where to Get Yucca Fruit
You can get Yucca Fruit by chopping down Palm Trees in the Kindlewastes.
