Food is an important part of survival in HumanitZ. You'll probably scour the Map and fill up your Backpack with all sorts of loot, but some of the best Food is what you can make yourself. Read on to learn all about Cooking!
How Cooking Works in HumanitZ
HumanitZ Cooking can keep your Hunger stat up. It's a good way to make use of all those Crops you grew with Farming, but you need to be careful about using your Food and Water wisely.
Firstly, the vast majority of Cooking Recipes require you to use Water Bottles. Water Bottles are also needed for Farming, so you'll need to ensure that you have a lot of Rain Collectors if you're going to do both Farming and Cooking.
Speaking of Farming, you should keep in mind that any Crops used in Cooking won't give you Seeds; you'll only get Seeds from eating raw Crops. Make sure to save at least a few raw Crops to eat for Seeds.
If you're concerned about spending Water, you should consider Fishing or Hunting. Many Recipes involving raw FIsh and raw Meat don't require any Water whatsoever.
