Forza 5

Forza Horizon 5 is an open world playground for racing enthusiasts, and it’s filled to the brim with a bevy of icons to check off as you go – some of which might reward you with some extra boons. As important as the races themselves may be, it’s equally important to use your time and currency to get the best benefits scattered across the map. That’s where Forza Horizon 5’s houses come in.

What are Forza Horizon 5 Houses?

Houses in Forza Horizon 5 serve multiple purposes. Most notably, most of them unlock active perks that can have a significant impact on your gameplay experience. They also function as fast travel points and a place for you to alter your character’s appearance.

How to Unlock Forza Horizon 5 Houses

With the exception of your first house, which is given to you free during the campaign, Forza Horizon 5’s houses are unlocked by completing Expeditions. These story-based quests act as the introduction event for each Adventure and require you to engage in a number of objectives so that you can ultimately set up a new Horizon outpost.

When you finish an Expedition, you’ll note that one of the game’s houses appears. Which house appears depends on the Expedition you complete, but revealing all of them shouldn’t take more than a few hours, especially if you just focus on unlocking each Adventure’s first tier as quickly as possible.

Where to find every Forza 5 House

Buena Esperanza is a renovated villa located in the southeast of the map. If you’re just wanting it for a fast travel spot near that area, it might be worth picking up – but keep in mind that it lacks an active perk to make it a truly worthwhile investment early in the game.

Buenas Vistas
Price: 2,000,000 CR
Active Perk: Fast Travel

Buenas Vistas is a modest beach house on the west coast of the map, but that ocean view doesn’t come cheap. Even so, this is one of the best houses to pick up if you find yourself with enough money, as its active perk grants you the ability to instantly fast travel to any spot on any road on the map. You’ll still have to pay fast travel fees, of course, but having so much freedom speeds the game up considerably, so it’s worth it.

Casa Bella
Price: Free
Active Perk: Skill Songs

Casa Bella is a relatively small villa located on the left side of the map a ways off the coast. You’ll earn this home for free early in the game, and its active perk lets you engage with skill songs. Once in a while, a radio station’s DJ will announce a skill song is about to begin, letting you score double skill points for the duration of the tune. If you’re aiming to level up and earn car mastery points quickly, this comes in handy.

Hotel Castillo
Price: 5,000,000 CR
Active Perk: Daily Wheelspin

Hotel Castillo is a massive castle located at the top of the map, and it’s going to cost you a whole lot of dough. It’s by far the most expensive house in the game, but its active perk gives you a daily wheelspin, so you can at least hope to earn some credits, cars, and items that should help you make back your investment in the long-term.

La Cabana
Price: 150,000 CR
Active Perk: N/A

La Cabana is located on the west coast of the map, and it’s the cheapest house you can purchase with credits. Sadly, it doesn’t come with any kind of active perk, but it provides a fast travel point, so that’s something.

La Casa Solariega
Price: 1,500,000 CR
Active Perk: #Forzathon Points Boost

La Casa Solariega is a manor house located in the bottom middle of the map, and it’s a pricey one to pick up. But if you’re the kind of person who invests a lot of time in #Forzathon, you’ll want to prioritize this house, as its active perk grants you double #Forzathon points across all types of events.

Lugar Tranquilo
Price: 700,000 CR
Active Perk: Horizon Promo

Lugar Tranquilo is a beachfront property located on the east coast of the map. It’s reasonably priced and provides an active perk that lets you photograph your car collection. The more pictures of your cars you take the more accolades you can unlock, and the more accolades you unlock the more items, perks, and cars you’ll score. Make it happen!
That’s A Wrap

---

After unlocking and purchasing every home on this list, you’ll have plenty of new fast travel points, cool new perks, and more. Additionally, you should immediately receive the Forza Horizon 5 “Mogul” achievement upon the purchase of your seventh house for a sweet 30 gamerscore.
