The first major Forza Horizon 5 has been leaked via now-deleted artwork on a Steam listing. The listing is for the "Premium Add-Ons" bundle and features banner art depicting a Hot Wheels-themed pack for the game, so it's likely we'll be getting an announcement during the Xbox showcase in a few days.

What will the first Forza Horizon 5 expansion be?

Forza Horizon 5 updates adding cars and new content, like April's Series 7 update, arrive on a pretty regular basis. A major expansion has yet to be released for the game, but it looks like that might change soon. According to banner artwork on a Steam listing (which was removed, but then quickly archived by an enterprising internet user), the first Forza Horizon 5 expansion will probably be themed around Hot Wheels. Unlike the aforementioned updates, this one will be paid, so it'll probably add a substantial amount of content to the game when it launches. Here's the now-deleted artwork confirming the Hot Wheels expansion.

The Steam listing, which is for the Premium Add-ons bundle that contains Forza Horizon 5 and various DLC packs, also lists another expansion. However, the banner only depicts the Hot Wheels pack, so it might be a little while before we get to hear about the second one. With the upcoming totally-not-E3 Microsoft showcase set to air on June 12th at 1pm ET, it's likely we'll get to hear something about the Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels expansion there. Make sure to stay tuned to TechRaptor for more on that.

What is Forza Horizon 5?

Released back in November last yearForza Horizon 5 is the fifth installment in the Forza Horizon series of racing games. Unlike the main Forza Motorsport series, the Horizon games are open-world and place more of an emphasis on accessible racing for newcomers rather than tuning and tweaking for enthusiasts (although you can certainly do plenty of that as well). The fifth game takes place in Mexico and features some pretty impressive scenery, as well as diverse racing in vehicles from supercars all the way to Jeeps and commercial SUVs.

Forza Horizon 5 features some pretty breathtaking landscapes, and it looks like it'll soon feature Hot Wheels cars as well.

You can grab Forza Horizon 5 from the Microsoft Store or Steam right now (and it's also included in an Xbox Game Pass subscription). It's available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. If you're just getting started with the game and you're struggling with its difficulty (which can be pretty hefty at times), then you might want to check out our Forza Horizon 5 race types guide, which breaks down all the different kinds of races available to you. We'll bring you more on this game as soon as we get it.
