Today Level Infinite and Hotta Studio released a new trailer featuring the upcoming major update for Tower of Fantasy, numbered 3.0.
The trailer showcases the new area that will be made available in the game when the new version launches on June 27. It's named Dimension 9 and it's inspired by Asian architecture and folklore as we also saw in the previous teaser.
More news come for potential players on PlayStation consoles. While the release date has not been announced, pre-orders will begin on June 20. The game is actually free-to-play, so you don't need to make any purchase, but you can buy yourself a package including a car, an outfit, a jet pack and a few additional goodies.
You can watch the trailer below. If you'd rather hear the Japanese voiceovers, the dedicated trailer is on the official YouTube channel.
Tower of Fantasy is free-to-play with optional microtransactions and currently available for PC, iOS, and Android, including a semi-recently-released Steam version.
Its developers have been rather consistent in updating it with new content since its release, and we saw the addition of many simulacra like Annabella, Alyss, Alyss, Umi, Fenrir, Lan, Icarus, Fiona, Gnonno, and Rubilia to the growing roster.
If you're interested in the game, it's a sci-fi MMORPG set on the far-away planet Aida, devastated by a cataclysm that destroyed most of the colony established by mankind centuries before. The players have to survive in this hostile environment among the ruins of civilization against increasingly aggressive and mutated monsters, while exploring a mysterious story full of intrigue and adventure.
