Level Infinite and Hotta Studio released a new trailer showcasing Fenrir, the next Simulacrum who is debuting via gacha in their anime-style MMORPG Tower of Fantasy.
This time around, instead of an introduction (which we saw in the previous trailer) or singing (which we enjoyed in another video earlier today), we get to see how Fenrir fights, including all of her abilities and powers, before she becomes available in the gacha tomorrow, March 9.
In case you missed it, Fenrir is voiced by Corina Boettger in English and Sakura Tange in Japanese. She previously voiced Cardinal in Sword Art Online, and Cagliostro in Granblue Fantasy. She was also the original voice of heroine Kasumi in the Dead or Alive Franchise before the role passed to Houko Kuwashima.
You can check out the trailer below.
If you're unfamiliar with the concept of Simulacrums, they are unlockable characters that players can swap to, changing to their fighting style, weapons, and abilities. They're the foundation of the game's gacha system.
Tower of Fantasy is free-to-play with optional microtransactions and currently available for PC, iOS, and Android, including a recently-released Steam version. Its developers have been rather consistent in updating it with new content since its release, and just recently we saw the addition of the new simulacrums Annabella, Alyss, and Umi to the growing roster.
If you're interested in the game, it's a sci-fi MMORPG set on the far-away planet Aida, devastated by a cataclysm that destroyed most of the colony established by mankind centuries before. The players have to survive in this hostile environment among the ruins of civilization against increasingly aggressive and mutated monsters, while exploring a mysterious story full of intrigue and adventure.
