Level Infinite and Hotta Studio released a new video showcasing Fenrir, the next Simulacrum that will be available via gacha in their anime-style MMORPG Tower of Fantasy.
This time around, instead of fighting (which we saw in the previous trailer), we get to see Fenrir in her other favorite activity (alongside eating, apparently), which is singing. Fenrir is an idol and we get to hear her new single, "Chocolate."
Incidentally, the video is available both in English and in Japanese. You can check out the English version below and listen to the Japanese version as well.
Fenrir is voiced by Corina Boettger in English and Sakura Tange in Japanese. You may know her as Cardinal in Sword Art Online, and Cagliostro in Granblue Fantasy. She is also the original voice of Kasumi in the Dead or Alive Franchise before the role passed to Houko Kuwashima.
She will debut in the game tomorrow, March 9.
If you're unfamiliar with the concept of Simulacrums, they are unlockable characters that players can swap to, changing to their fighting style, weapons, and abilities. They're the foundation of the game's gacha system.
Tower of Fantasy is free-to-play with optional microtransactions and currently available for PC, iOS, and Android, including a recently-released Steam version. Its developers have been rather consistent in updating it with new content since its release, and just recently we saw the addition of the new simulacrums Annabella, Alyss, and Umi to the growing roster.
If you're interested in the game, it's a sci-fi MMORPG set on the far-away planet Aida, devastated by a cataclysm that destroyed most of the colony established by mankind centuries before. The players have to survive in this hostile environment among the ruins of civilization against increasingly aggressive and mutated monsters, while exploring a mysterious story full of intrigue and adventure.
