Goddess of Victory: Nikke developer Shift Up revealed a couple of really fetching original costumes that will feature in the game's NieR: Automata crossover.
We already saw the character design for both 2B and A2, who will appear as playable characters alongside Pascal in the popular free-to-play third-person shooter and RPG hybrid, but Shift Up went a step further.
The Korean developer leveraged the talent of its artists to create original costumes for both androids, inspired by traditional Japanese fashion, and they're certainly beautiful.
2B's will be available via costume gacha, while A2's will be unlocked at Rank 10 of the Premium YoRHa Pass. You can see what they look like below.
If you'd rather have more "traditional" NieR: Automata costumes, we also got the reveal of two more via X (formerly Twitter) that can be claimed via event mission challenges after unlocking the characters themselves.
We already know that the event and the costumes will be made available with an update on September 1.
If you're unfamiliar with Goddess of Victory: Nikke, it's a free-to-play gacha game for PC, iOS, and Android. Its developer, Shift-Up, is owned by popular artist Hyung-tae Kim of Magna Carta and Blade & Souls fame.
The studio is also working on an action game for PS5 titled Stellar Blade, formerly known as Project EVE.
NieR: Automata is a beloved action JRPG born from the mind of Yoko Taro, available for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It recently passed 7.5 million copies sold, so it's not surprising that it's getting a lot of crossovers. Square Enix seems to be determined to put 2B in as many games as humanly possible.
