Goddess of Victory: Nikke's Nier: Automata crossover - 2B and A2

The Nier: Automata crossover event in Goddess of Victory: Nikke is right around the corner, and the designs for 2B and A2 have been revealed.

The popular androids will appear as playable characters within the game alongside Pascal, and their designs by the character designers of Shift Up's mobile game will likely make Yoko Taro proud.

Below you can check out the full artwork for each character revealed on Twitter alongside two videos showing their animations,

The crossover will launch with its dedicated in-game event with an update on September 1. It features three playable characters, 2B, A2, and Pascal. There will also be dedicated storylines and events.

If you're unfamiliar with Goddess of Victory: Nikkeit's currently available for PC, iOS, and Android. It's free-to-play with optional microtransactions and it has become quite popular since its mobile release worldwide back in November 2022.

Its developer Shift Up previously created the popular mobile game Destiny Child and its CEO is famous South Korean artist Hyung-tae Kim. You may be aware of his gorgeous character design work in the Magna Carta series and in Blade & Souls.

The studio has also been working on a PS5 action game, originally codenamed Project EVE and recently renamed Stellar Blade

NieR: Automata is available for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Back in April, we heard that it has sold 7.5 million copies worldwide across all platforms, so it's unsurprising that its characters are appearing everywhere.

Its many crossovers (including the latest in Naraka: Bladepoint) are becoming basically a meme among the community, but can you really blame developers for wanting 2B in their games?

While we don't have any real information for now, its developers seem pretty confident that another NieR game will be coming at some point.
