Today Honkai: Star Rail developer HoYoverse revealed another character that will grace the game's Event Warp gacha down the line.
Hanya is a four-star physical character following the path of Harmony, and she's one of the judges of the Ten-Lords Commission.
She's voiced in English by Suzie Yeung and in Japanese by Sayumi Suzushiro.
You may know Suzushiro-san for her roles as Kylie in The Magnificent Kotobuki, Cassandra Cappelli in Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy, Shinigami in Master Detective Archives: Rain Code, and Kirara in Genshin Impact.
You can see her full art below.
Here's how she's officially described on X (formerly Twitter)
"Extraterrestrial Satellite Communication" Hanya "Using dreams to analyze the sins of the mara-struck is like touching a vine with thorns — it doesn't hurt as much when your fingers become numb."
One of the judges of the Ten-Lords Commission. Of the four duties of a judge (detention, imprisonment, punishment, and interrogation), Hanya is charged with the last task. She specializes in reading the karma and sins of criminals, and records their crimes and punishments with the Oracle Brush.
As she spends her days using dreams to predict karmic offenses and has to endure the torrential flood of information regarding the mara-strucks' actions, she has long become dull to all things in the world. Only when she operates with her sister and fellow judge, Xueyi, will Hanya momentarily reveal her true nature.
It's not likely that she'll be added to the game with version 1.4, which is going to be revealed tomorrow and will probably introduce Jingliu, Topaz, and Guinaifen.
On the other hand, it's most likely that she will join Huohuo and Argenti as the third new character of Version 1.5 in a few weeks. This would fit HoYoverse's modus operandi, which is usually very predictable.
A PS5 version of Honkai: Star Rail is coming on October 11, 2023, joining the existing PC, iOS, and Android platforms.
