Honkai: Star Rail developer HoYoverse knows how to keep its players engaged, and it has announced events both in the real world and on the web.
In the real world, we're getting a "Global Tea Event" that lets you buy collaboration drinks in many nations around the globe in order to earn in-game rewards and merchandise. Here's a list of the participating chains by nation, announced via Twitter.
The event will start on July 19 at the following locations.
- United States: Sunright Tea Studio
- South Korea: MAURITIUS BROWN
- Japan: cafe on wheels at Tokyo and Osaka
- France: SHODAI MATCHA
- Germany: Comebuy
- Argentina: Hero Anime Cafe
- Philippines: Happy Lemon
- Vietnam: Gong Cha Việt Nam
- Thailand: BEARHOUSE
- Malaysia: KOI
- Singapore: CHAGEE
- Indonesia: RAMU NOSTALGIA
The developer also apologized for not managing to organize the event in the UK, but promised that there are "exciting events on the horizon."
Another event is going to begin on July 14, this time on the web, titled Xianzhou Cruise. No information was provided, so the content of the event remains mysterious. The only possible hints are two sentences shared via Twitter.
When given a chance to choose, don't regret your choice.
I must protect the innocent from disasters!
We'll have to wait and see what this is all about.
